B-grade WS in light armor..?

It's been a long while since I played my WS. With the coming of CT2 (and a lot of new skills for the WS), I thought it would be time to get her from the shelf and see if I can get her into a-grade ;)

But it's not yet that time... Today I just hit 50, and I hope to hit B-grade somewhere at the end of next week or so. And then the question of armor comes along...

Right now I have only a Doom Leather Armor set in my WH (initially for my now-retired Kamael), and I was thinking to let my WS wear it.
Problem arises on gained damage (I won't use a shield of course and will add +DEX dyes) since evasion is not optimized. But with my +8 Yaksa Mace * Rsk. Focus, I think they might combine nicely.
I don't worry about killing the mobs too slow. I have a wolf with me who's 2 levels higher then me and soon can be evolved (and become my main tank)

I'd like to know if Light is a (workeble) option for an active playing WS, or if I should wait till A or even S-grade before I start using light....
Light armor is imo never really a good option for a dwarf, we dont have high enough evasion to make it worth using. from my expirience a heavy armor will always make you take less damage then you will with a light.

although, if you have a rsk. focus weapon you might want to take more damage just so you can keep under 60% HP for that SA to work.

That was my thought as well. Eventhough the Doom LA is +6, it still has a much lower p.def then the FP I'm wearing right now.
I think I can boost my evasion to somewhere around 95 max on level 52, but I'm not sure if that's enough...

I have no problem getting at the 60% when wearing heavy armor as well :) And with buffs (best SE for VR) I do loads of damage
I'm using PL+6. With the new buff for light armor we get my evasion is 102 at level 57. I'm planning to add +5 DEX tats next cycle. This setup is very good for solo hunting field mobs. Have yet to check on 4x mobs.
good point the few points from tan leather might make light armour a bit better
I kept lighton a dwarf until 52 , cause +4 STR of PL is lweet.
After that if your set isn't OE it's pretty much suicidal
i had pics of me wearing light armor till 35 or so...
mostly due to extra mp
