Oh Cametoe is nothing like Syn was. 2 parties of Syn could do major damage and had skill at doing it. Cametoe can only do things as long as they have large numbers.

FYI rummy, CD did the same thing when they were allied with NM before the merge. eventually they treated NM like [censored] as well, we warred them, and they were all alone for a few months before the merge getting pounded. Once the merge happened they made a bunch of new friends from hinde who knew nothing about them so that they could get back at gustin.. and now i'm starting to see the cycle repeat itself all over again *cough divine cough*. Pony boy you better get your ally under control before it happens again. i especially didnt like it the first time because once every1 came over to NM's side the pvp went down the drain. >.<

Sadly most of the ppl that fought with honor have moved servers or left the game. I remember running into Syn parties a number of times where just one of them would step up to take me on or out and not just run over me with the whole party. That was fighting with honor and gaining respect, it's just too bad there is so lil of it now a days.
There are ppl out there that do fight with honor and hold respect for the ppl they are fighting but sometimes it seams all the trash talking and flaming gets in the way.
Wats funny here is that Hindemith's clans and major alliances are ok with beeing zerged... I wonder how long CD and NM will last if they get zerged. I am giving out 4 months before offensive leaves CD and CD brakes up and like 3 months for NM to participate only in oly and become a non factor ally outside the olympiad stadium.

ok i got a update late last night on Cameltoes reason for war.
here are all 3 reason that i've heard.
1. We party with NM
2. We do epic raids with Ragnarok
3. Someone gave out locations
So since we've now heard 3 reason to the war so far...

Good fights are really lacking and this is cause the most players nowadays are looking only for a way to win. This is why we have terms like griefing, scamming, playing with alts, zerging, cheating, aim, radar and etc...
There are not many ppl left that play for their honour but just to feel like winners. Sad but true. . . and I am one of these players that play to feel like winners :)

Most of the time with Camolot you want. They love the pvp side of the game. If they precieve you have wronged them weather real or imagined(which is usually the case and all major allies have been guilty of it),they will throw the war. What I have noticed in the past but am unsure if it still holds true is one they do declair on you good luck dropping it.
Truth is I have mixed fealings on nutral clans, ican understand it is just a diffrent playstyle, while on the other hand why should you have your cake and eat it to.
When in Pvp clans I have felt that all nutral clans deserved to be warred when clans emerge that grief and rule the server and only a hand full of brave souls stood up to oppose them and the nutral clans sat back and out of fear did nothing. However even though it is a pvp game it isn't the only thing about L2 so I do understand the draw for nutral clans that have no use for the politics.
Once again, if you party with a clan that is at war, you should be willing to accept the consequences of possibly being killed, I see nothing wrong with that.

It's a PvP game, and if they feel you are helping their enemy progress in this game, whether it be with Raids, Leveling and so on, they have every right to war you. Obviously some clans handle things differently, and I really don't know the details, and I really don't care what they are (Sorry).

sometimes clans stay neutral simply because they dont like either side ^^ doesnt always mean u get ur cake and eat it too - often times u find your wared by all :-)

And since there are forums, people should use whatever political advantage and public relations pressure to make it disadvantageous for folks to randomly PVP everyone.

I usually tell our members they can party with anyone they want, but that they should know they might die for it. If someone gets attacked they are to not interfere at all. Thats how we try to stay neutral.
I just dont have time for politics in a game I play for fun. And there are just way too many top clans and alliances now to keep track of them all >.<

Let me say one thing! Deathnote is afraideof no one clan or person but we do respect them. We have stood up against FS and RD and befriended both from one time or another. So to put it clear for those who have there glasses broken. We are nuetral and don't give locations, but do party with whoever we want and yes if we are partied and attacked then we are fair game at that moment. Sounds like Camelot got there feelings hurt by NM and have to turn somewhere else for help. It won't be us under duress. If anything your clan are pushing people the other way.
Honestly anyone who says "it's a PvP game" is usually trying to excuse them being impolite / a bully / having no class / no honor.
It's a game. And your conduct in game is that which will end up being how people judge you.
If you war a neutral clan that is weaker than you, then expect them to report your locations as a means of fighting back.
It's a game. Everyone plays the parts they want. Some don't want the war aspect. But they are more than happy to siege. Particularly in CT2 people will be willing to get on a siege field w/ no XP losses.
I do think your reputation matters. And I do think there are some clans that people know at least TRY to not have the reputation for being bullies or cheating.
L2 may have started out PvP and the marketing lit says it's PvP. But it's honestly nothing more than what its players make of it.

You got warred to be on the save side. Being friendly with NM or not doesn't matter. It just reduces the risk of getting full loss when engaged with wartags and you guys are eager to jump into the fight (not saying you would).
Bottom line? You just got a one way war which doesn't mean anything at all to make a big deal of it. Start making a deal when you return the war since then you will get attacked when sighted. Now people wont even bother going red unless some bored guy comes and smacks you while you return the favour and flag back.

When you party gets killed in pvp , the side that won the fight apologizes to you for ruining your party. If you party protect, you should expect to be killed. Fair.
I have 2 active ppl in my clan, and I will accept party from anyone who need my help. I also find many groups in the party match system. Killing ppl who don't party protect, and don’t interfere in pvp is lame.

Sacura is very right. I remembe myself even bressing neutrals. But when they cheat on me or our alliance I ve been trying to make their life bad. First it has been a warning to the clan leader and letting him know what will happen for sure if he cant control its members, and if this action repeats again for a few times then we were warring ppl. I belive the BHI war started in that way. Aucu was not able to control starkalev(sp) and the groups of his clan that were showing at sieges so they got warred.
To be honest the neutral clans were well respected in Hindemith cause both forces were so equall at the most time that having a new neutral clan warring u never ended very well at the massive events.

No one is forcing anyone to do anything, and get off your "We had 3x the people" cause you didn't. Gustin may have had a lower population, but it sure as hell was not 1/2 your size, and factor that in with the fact we had our Bot/Farmer population far more under control than Hinde had, I mean FFS we're not the server that had clans that accepted, and assisted clans like DarksigneD, and as for calling Gustin a dead server, that's a pretty silly point, cause last I checked Hinde needed to be merged too.

As far as the thread topic goes.. I have been called by smaller clans to go kill CD due to avatar harassment.. in some small countries its punishable by chopping off the index finger rendering play almost impossible. But here in the US you just have to file and *****ction or restraining order and your toon will simply log off when said persons approach within a designated range of steps. I know this due to many of my old CD pals promply logging off right as I got the first hit off :(

(never understood how you can say you're neutral, if you're being attacked. Put simply, you're just losing the war). Apparently Gustin was more hardcore than I ever appreciated. Rummy, the only way to get out of a war with a Gustin clan is leave your current clan. And even that may not get you out of it lol (especially after posting here...) It is common for Gustin clans to make a KOS (kill on sight) list for those who decide to go with no clan. To take it further, if you join a new clan, you would just be dragging that clan into the war.
this makes me laugh, hinde may not be warring neutral clans but from what ive seen we certainly can out play most of the gustin clans

Every now and then, I put on a carebear outfit to remind myself of my Solidarity days.
Wait..I can't wear it - Solidarity had pvp too ...just mainly against the likes of FireDragon, TRE w/ Notkyle, KewIaid, and then the random bots that Scav would torment.
BTW..anyone tick off some bots so bad they try to train you but your aoe party kills everything quickly? LOL..free pulls for an hour.
