look i just spent god knows how many hows going from 17-21 and someone pked me and my game shut off and when I went to restart and messed up and and when i restarted again it sent me back to level 17 wtf is going on I am at the point where I will never play or recommended this game to anyone if this problem is solved.
What level were you before it shut down? If you were 18 and under 4%, it's not a glitch. You can delevel if you die. So I am certain that you just deleveled when the person pked you.
no i was at level 21 i just got there when i got pked for the first time my game shut down and when i went to restart the game it shut down again so i restart one more time beforce uninstalling the game and going back to guildwars eye of the north, and with my luck I was at level 17 not 21.

Posting this here will not get you anything but player's opinions on the matter, so I don't know what you're trying to accomplish.
Use the in-game petition system to petition a GM or submit a ticket to support via this website (probably the better choice) by looking over at the menu on the left.
That being said, I have been playing this game for over 4 years and although I've heard about a whole lot of weird bugs, I have never, ever heard of someone loosing 4 whole levels in one death. Never. If that actually did happen to you they can restore the xp. However, they can only do that if you actually submit a support ticket.
*Edit* I just want to stress to you, if I didn't already, that I've NEVER heard of anything like this happens. In fact, it's so out of the ordinary that I kind of doubt your story tbh. But if everything happened like you said it did, then let's just say it's highly unusual.
ya i am mad I spent time on a game and it messed up that make me mad.If there are problems like that in the game after 4 years thats sad and my game glichs when i run and I know its not my graphics card I just bot the nvidia geforces 8800 GTS OC, and it was not cheap.

This game has some bugs, yes, but it's dependent on your computer (newer, older, doesn't really matter) and your connection. I have an old desktop that's actually just at or slightly below the minimum requirements and a new laptop that's above them and I can't even remember the last time I crashed out of game on either system. It's been well over six months.
But, if a game must be absolutely perfect with no glitches whatsoever in order for you to enjoy it then this is not the game for you. Neither is any other computer game, for that matter. I suggest you go play marbles or pick-up sticks or something like that...
yea.. not sure this is a bug... are you sure it was not your XP % that lost 4 points and not your level.
He was level 21right??? now he's level 17 :o so hard to understand :o
Well you never know if when the person "left the computer to go to the bathroom" they were level 21 and when they got back they were level 17 - and with out SS of before and after... so hard to help.....

Ok, either:
A, it's a glitch and you need to fill out a support ticket as you've discovered some sort of weird bug. It's happened before (bugs that is) like the time one of our more imfamous pk'ers killed so many players he went from Red to White. So it's possible
B, you were mistaken somehow and you were looking at somethign else and you didn't get your lvl.
Let's go with A.
Fill out a support ticket. As this has never ever happened to anyone that I know of within the 4+ years I've played it seems an odd fluke and something quite rare.
I have never heard of anything like this happening. Nobody ever lost four levels in one death. It just does not happen - if there WAS a bug like that, it surely would have surfaced at least once in the several years the game is now live, or?
The only time I *ever* heard of anybody losing several levels was when somebody was botting with auto-accept res :)
I cant say i've heard of thie either but wtf, 17->21 thats nothing, submit a ticket
the people you are telling in here cant do anything about it at all cept give you our sympathies and most look at those levels and WISH our current levels went that fast
If you gonna give up a game that fast go, really...

can't really take a SS if you didn't know that was going to happen, as if she could go back in time and SS herself as level 21.
also yea if you find 17-21 difficult this game may not be for you, cause try going 76-77, that makes 17-21 heaven

ahhhhh....
Light dawns on marble head...
As that is the only time I've ever heard of such a thing as well.
i really dont understand why you people jumped on this guy from the first minute he ever posted.
stranger bugs and glitches have happened in this game, and worse typos in posts have been made. i really see no cause for the stink you people raised.
I don't think people are "jumping on him".
People are trying to work out what it possibly could be. Of course, as always, this type of thing is a "support ticket" issue.
We only have what we can go on which is our experience in the game. And as you well know, as people start working out the possibilities of what it could be, some of the more distasteful possibilites are also considered.
It's sort of like the guy who wrote support complaining about why he was viewing a player's name as orange and Spam indicated that that was because the "program which should not be named" was telling him that that person had his summon out.
This person could very well have found a glitch or was "found" by someone else. This is L2. It's not beyond the pale.

Oh, and Happy Birthday.
true enough, sov, but really throwing around accusations disguised as sarcasm really wasnt necessary. right now i am really disappointed and feeling let-down by community i had previously respected.

Really? Of all the threads that could have made you feel let-down by the community it's this one? I have faith that you could find a much better example than this.
nope. a true newb gets called a bot within 2 posts. afterward when everyone realises he makes a typo, the same noob comes back having had a wierd glitch. and again gets called in no uncertain terms a bot, who died on autorez.
now tell me
who kills a bot train level 17-20 ON AUTO RES? no, you do that to level 70+ bot trains cause it hurts more, is more fun, and can in some cases net CRP.
this community is living proof of the fact there IS no community intelligence. one guy screams bot and everyone flocks like a lemming over the cliff.
but the best part is how so many people WHIIIIIIIIIIIINE AND WHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINE that the game is dying and needs new people.
sounds like the client messed something up on the account when it dc'd twice in a row and somehow caused a rollback. Were you in the same spot you were when you dc'd first time or were you back where you were when you were 17?

See, that sounds like jumping the gun to me. Though it was probably not the case, the player could have mistakenly been referring to the persons clan name. If the case, an orange name would mean that it was an academy toon.
I know it confused the hell out of me when I first noticed it.
Problem I see is that this guy has a hard time putting his issues to "paper". I find his post difficult at best to understand. I do recall the post Spud is talking about and I for one defended this guy with the same gusto Spud seems to have for this posting.
But in that post, as with this one, I had a hard time following exactly what he was trying to describe. Maybe English is a second language or he just has poor grammer, but I am still not quite sure what happened.
Until he is more clear how many times he died and exactly what levels/percent he was before hand, it will be difficult to make any judgements about his "botting" status.
I hope he stays, I hope everyone that tries this game stays.

The "Orange" part of that post was wrong. The name was black.
We'll see. Mythic doesn't have the best track record. I have played the table top version of the Warhammer 40k game for years. There is alot of history around the Warhammer universe, I hope they don't screw it up.
Crating system sucks imho. Way to simplified and yields little to be desired.
