Passives from your sub to your Main?

Dwarf Classes Started Last reply 31 posts
Would like to hear what passive skills other dorfzors have chosen from their subs?

edit: please do remember to state your subclasses when describing your archetype/trigger skills.

Minor Celestial
+ Anything that add Mdef / Elemental Def / Stun resist
thats exactly what i'm thinking too kzimir. most likely will keep adding m.def at 65, 70, and 75. i say one can never have enough m.def, specially a melee. its a hard choice between greater cp boost and debuff resist though (as a tyrant sub).
You actually bring up a subject I've been wondering for a while. Anyone know of a complete list of exactly how much effect you get from the passive skills anywhere? If your not allowed to post here, maybe you wouldnt mind pm'ing it to me. All I've found is different threads on different forums that list only 1-2 skills. :(

I at first went with Chance Crit thing from my PW sub, but it's completely worthless for us. I think it's a percentage boost (that rarely ever procs) but only boosts my crit with blunt from 44 -> 53. Changed that to the passive version of Crit boost, and I'm pretty happy. It's a +30 boost to base crit rate regardless of the weapon you have equipped, so I'm actually close to 80 base crit unbuffed with a blunt weapon now.
TBH a dagger / ranger sub is completely useless for us.
With the range nerf.

My subs will be BD , AW and prolly Tyrant.
But i really don't know what to take with that AW sub.

Aswell here is a little test from diego varga on L 2 B L A H.

Chance Mana Steal - 3% chance when you attack to steal 10 MP.
Critical Damage Reduction - Reduces critical damage by 3%.
Counter Heal - Heals 183 HP 3% of the time you take damage.
Counter Barrier - Gives 5 seconds of invulnerability 3% of the time you take damage.
Mana Recovery - Gives +0.5 MP regen.
Prayer - Increases received heals by a static +19 hp.
Master Casting - Gives +11 cast speed.
Resist Debuff - Allegedly bugged making you more vulnerable instead of increasing resist.

Resist Debuff - Allegedly bugged making you more vulnerable instead of increasing resist.

hmmm might as well go with greater CP boost. more of the yellow bar is always a good thing.
Great cp boost is a static +600 cp , i think that it's not exactly what a dwarf miss i mean we already have plenty of cp and hp.

Seriously Mdef , is one of our weakest link
i got chance haste but was too lazy to lvl my second sub the last few lvls otherwise i would have prolly went for cp
seriously who can say no to 700 extra cp?
I m using Haste Chance and it trigger fairly enough.
About Celestial I used it 2 days in aoe, it trigger a lot in AoE but have a great problem, no heal/no buff (cov, dance/song etc) land on you when you have it so I had to drop it.
Next Update or the one after that issue will be corrected so for aoe player, celestial will be a really good skill (if you pull/tank)
Has anyone tested the UD?
Does it prevent you from moving like the regular UD does?
What UD oO ?

Mat, a few questions for you:

1. i'm guessing celestial shield you got from your BD subclass yes?
2. what is the duration of chance haste when it triggers? is it the same like the blunt mastery trigger?
3. lastly, what passives did you pick (or will pick) at 65/70 from your BD and your tyrant subclasses?

/regards
I don't have anymore Celestial Shield (but yes that was from my bd)
Haste duration = 30 sec (also Skill Mastery can work on it, oO 60 Haste)
I took P atck at 65/70 from my bd and I will do the same from my tyran once I hit 65/70
You have to remind that mat build is pve oriented , while i am pvp ^^
hmm interesting. i'm torn between these two combos from my sub.
+m.def, +m.def, haste chance
or
+m.def, +focus, cp boost
(both for pvp build)

thx to josie for mentioning that focus passive boosts crit-rate to like +30. :)
when u do pvp (i don't mean gank), u often are in party, and the dorf is the last target. and when you are the target, it means all other partymates are dead, so ++mdef is useless imo.
++CP is the same thing

i took from my 2 sub for 65/70 lvls : ++ pattack
from sts sub at 75 : focus
and i will take same for my necro sub.
next sub will be destroy, so i dunno atm what i will take.
i don't like triggers coz u can't count on that, it's like the roulet, u can win, but u loose too many time. and atm triggers overbuff u (with gracia, it won't)

If my build was for pve I would have keep my +5dex -5con ;)
My build is more pvp oriented than you think. It's just that I don't value so mutch m def, against a nuker either I stun him either he kill me, a little more m def will not change much.
Aghen pointed something that i really forgot.

Dwarf build in PvP parties is mostly to disable stun lock etc , and yeah we are the last targets lol

+5 dex oO

What UD oO ?

Yes you can get that if your sub is a tank class, but what I want to know is if it locks you down to one place or if it allows you to move around.
Not everything that has an UD icon is UD. It's simply a buff that gives you ~20% mdef/pdef and doesn't affect you in any other way.
ok. thanks for the info moep :)
i got mdef from the 65 and 70 levels.
chance haste is so nice when it triggers, its imo one of the best you can get.
passive crit rate from master abilities is also nice to have, +30 crit rate.
CP boost seems kinda pointless imo, we already have 4k+ CP and in my experience our biggest problem in PvP is not to stay alive but to kill the other person. so imo anything that will make you do more damage > defensive. although i still think mdef > patk from 65-70. we need all that mdef to surive long enough to get close to the nukers.

thats what i keep thinking too. but after reading xalya's, mat's and aghen's views, i'm just confoozled, if i want to get p.atk at 65/70 or m.def. oh well still 4 more levels to go before deciding.
Enchanter Barrier - the Celestial Shield one.. - SWS Skill set..

It FRIGGING Rocks, it goes off all the time, its really good for pulling AOE... and the next patch you can be healed while its on..

And ive won Oly matches with it.. saved my [censored] :P

And M Def passives galore...
Is there any site that someone can see what skill or stats he can take on his main and which sub offers them?

Here you go mate. (http://i048.radikal.ru/0804/2f/b215107bcf0f.jpg) Also remember that your subclass at LvL65 and 70 doesn't really matter, cuz the only ONE thing you can increase is p.atk, OR m.atk, OR, p.def OR m.def

BUT

your sub does matter at LvL75 when you get to pick either an enhanced passive OR a class archetype skill OR a trigger skill. Hopefully the chart will help.

/regards
Tnx a lot Lucy :)
Any1 know the actual amount increase in p.atk at 65 and then at 70?
Increase Patk:
Tested with lvl 81 character base patk 937
lvl 1 - +22
lvl 2 - +20
lvl 3 - +18
lvl 4 - +15
lvl 5 - +14
lvl 6 - +10

Increase Matk:
Tested with lvl 81 character base matk 1708
lvl 1 - +11
lvl 2 - +9
lvl 3 - +9
lvl 4 - +8
lvl 5 - +6
lvl 6 - +5

Increase Pdef:
Tested with lvl 81 character base pdef 780
lvl 1 - +9
lvl 2 - +9
lvl 3 - +8
lvl 4 - +9
lvl 5 - +9
lvl 6 - +9

Increase Mdef:
Tested with lvl 81 character base mdef 918
lvl 1 - +15
lvl 2 - +15
lvl 3 - +15
lvl 4 - +16
lvl 5 - +18
lvl 6 - +12
Where did you pull those numbers out? I have lv 4 patk boost on my Adv and at lvl 79 with drac set +5str +0AS clan might1 and no buffs I have 923 patk. Without passive I'd have 897 patk. That's a grant total of +26 patk from the lvl 4 passive.

Edit: It is most likely percentage based because without weapon I have 15 patk just like without the passive. Gimme a sec and I'll validate it^^

Hm ok it's not percentage based, with my +7kris I got 749 patk instead of 724 so that's again pretty much +26 patk (25 in that case but prolly rounded somewhere).

So it either depends on class, on weapon type or your numbers are wrong :P

edit: with my EE's +1 Mace of the Underworld I have 362 instead of 333 patk on my adv, so that is 29 patk there...

So it seems to depend on weapon somehow but I'm not bored enough to find out how exactly^^
I made +HP +CP and FOCUS for my dwarfy (as for special skills). From ordinary skills I took p.def and p.atack. Because +1 p.def added +18 p.def to me. So.. at lvl 78 I have 1200 p.def with only shield lvl3 buff and in majestic +3 set. When with g.shield and selfs I have like 1400. When in IC +3 + shield + g.shield is 1800 and with Song of earth it's 2100 :) Now...this is a good thing casue with -11 con I have basic of 3,6cp + 600 from skill +660 from "S" shirt. which is 4.8k and 11k HP when with POF (COV) and BTB 6. Also 1800-850 p.atack (with dances)
Now imagine this little dorfy running with 1000 m.def (yeah it's low) but with 5k CP +11k HP + 1800 p.atack and u r a HEALER :) Dragon hunter axe +5 +150 fire ftw! And if I only could wear +6 IC set daaaaamnnn :)
