Hello, well I am new to L2 and just wanted a bit of advice on my class I am a lvl 14 Human Fighter and at lvl 20 I am not sure which path to take, I was Thinking either archer or tank but I cant deciede.

Any help would be appriecated. :)
I wouild recommend tank only if you level with friends, otherwise archer would be easier to play but if you really like tank then you can play it solo too of course, it will just be a bit harder.
Well i dont really know anyone atm but I am hoping that will change... Maybe I should go archer then.

Thanks for your input :)
Tanks need a supportive clan to level, as their real role is support, and they are slow leveling on their own. Archers are a DD, but they do need buffs. Also, if you choose archer. there are things you should know about the economics of leveling tem at lower levels.
... like: Use a dagger until you're 52. :)
Is it better to use a dagger untill higher lvls even if i am going archer class?
Yes. For a simple reason: Money. Bows use an insane amount of shots below B-grade.
Personally its up to you, Gladis are good, Tanks need a bit of support, Archers/daggers are decent at solo

with being able to get Newbie buffs to lvl 62 now all classes will be weasier to lvl.

its up to you on the way you want to play.

Do you want to be responsible for protecting your party and can you target fast enough? go Knight (Palidin (healer tank) or DA (main tank class))

Do you want to use Dual swords and be major DD? Go warrior (Gladiator)

Do you want to use a pole arm and pull lots of mobs? Go Warrior (Warlord)

Do you want to use a dagger, be quick moving, and be a good DD? go Rouge (Treasure Hunter)

Want to use a bow and be a good dd? Go Rouge (Hawkeye)

I dont think I missed any of them.

It depends on how you want to play, dont let anyone tell you what class you want to pic.
And don't forget, you need to get good at the economy and figure out ways to make money other then killing monsters to afford the equipment you will want.
In fact, if you haven't spent considerable time already at lvl 14 learning parts of the economy and investing some effort into figuring out how to make adena then you are behind.

You'll need between 180-250 million adena after A-grade (61) to get that level of gear.
You should be reliably making between 2-5 million per week now.

Yes for sure! If you have not spent considerable time at level 14 where it takes probably less than 75 mobs to kill to get to 15 thinking about how to make millions in the economy its over!

Seriously WTF can a level 14 with a level 14's cash on hand do to earn money other than turn off soul shot?

Hmm maybe he can take his stems and set up shop. Or take those leather glove linings and sell them in a starter town.

Please examples of what the level 14 can actually do to make money, when he has not been exposed to things like the catacombs and AA and does not have enough seed (as in starter not manor system) money to make money, like running or porting to Giran and using his 12K adena to buy a few D crystals that he then uses a craft shop to turn it into dss and then sells for a whopping few adena profit per.

Dude, just keep levelling. Get the hell out of NG grade. When Gracia comes you will level much easier and have less hits in your adena sack. Free teleports thru 40 and newbie buffs to 61.

Drakkos is right though A grade costs a ****zle load, but you can stay with your B grade gear for a bit til you earn it/craft it.

SS's are free at that lvl (just do the quests for them) and start manoring.
I did the wolf quest twice and sold them both for 400k each :P
