I think he wants to know how badly the stat decrease was for these pets.... They had their stats toned down in Gracia. I have no clue, I didn't bother with pets on the PTS.

I would have thought they would only be used for riding if they were made much weaker. Hard to say without knowing how much weaker they will be.

Yeah, and rumors are the best sorces for information, eh? No one in thier right mind would sell a wolf or strider for 5mil, that is just stupid.

The price of the pet will depend on how badly it was nerfed. Striders were not changed as far as I am aware of, only the effectiveness of wolves was decreased. I haven't tested it, but I am guessing that the crazy Patk on the great wolf was decreased by maybe 10-30%. If that is the case, wolves will still be good damage dealers and be a major help to some classes for the grind.

Riding around on a wolf or strider will always be fun and they will always be somewhat valuable.

Expect to see no change in the price of striders and a slight decrease in the price of wolves. They will still be worth leveling up and using and as such, people will still buy or raise them.

i would think if anything, with cost of armor and weapons tanking people will have more money to spend on the aesthetics of a mount, which still require alot of time and work to train.

Leveling a wolf now blows and I can't image that changing. Not only do they level slower then a stider or a baby pet they take more xp/sp then the others too.

That Wolf Nerf is a Myth if anything they got Stronger with More M defense from the New Pet jewelry.

Yes, I can also confirm this now, the "nerf" to the wolf is almost not even noticable. They are still great damage dealers and as ashley said, they now may be even stronger with their new Mdef. A wolf is still going to be a great accet to anyone who owns one. I would expect the price of wolves to stay the same.

Some of you guys panic too easily... learn the facts before rushing to conclusions.

I think they're from the patch notes. things being over/misinterpreted and passed along as facts

But in my mind a servitor is always a skil based summon thingy.
(ie - unicorn, cat or whatever those DE things are).

Are they adding in new wolf weapons/armor at some point? Or am I safe having the top grade current? I seem to remember being able to trade upward with strider gear, does the same apply for wolves if they ever make new gear?
