The commercials are catchy. They aren't funny like Bud Light spots, but they still have a pleasant and friendly tone. The beer? Crisp to the point of being noxious. The finish is clean I guess, but overall it's just a beer that I in order to wash down heavier selections when nothing else in that category is available.
Jack until Im drunk, and then bud light because its cheap.
Heineken fits no where into that equation, ever. That and Corona. I think there both highly over rated. There's a local brewery around here, Opa-Opa, thats some pretty **** good beer. Berkshire Brewing is good too.
But yeah I agree.. here in The Netherlands Heineken is considered as the "random beer to drink in a disco", not quality stuff. Personally I prefer Alfa (also Dutch beer) as "drink for thirst" beer. As for quality beer, that'd be the german and belgium ones, those are the ones always getting the awards.
And yeah Kirin and Saporo are nice, but I only saw those as regular beer when I was in Japan, never seen them outside.
Actualy Heineken is not a beer but pils/lager. When it comes to beers Belgium is the place to be. period. They have many many kinds of beer and a bad one I still have to taste. When it comes to pils/lager Heineken is good, its clean, good flavor. Best is Grolsch imo though

However, I like the "I need you" everyone being nice and giving everyone else a Heineken commercial. But it would be easy to spoof. Someone could do a vid. where the person is giving everyone else a Heineken....but drinking something different themself. (i.e. "Take this--I don't actually DRINK Heineken")

That could be good, it could be one party where everyone just passes around the beer, then it zooms back to the people that passed around the beer and they're drinking something else :)

so what is your toons name again? we'll harass her instead, and leave you alone.
Any one can tell me why ppl call their ingame characters toons? Its like from cartoon and in every rpg system ppl are called characters not toons. Even in D&D system there is Character Sheet no Toon Note :P Pls tell me why toon. :P
The movie mixes real humans and animated characters and the non-humans are called 'toons' and they live in a weird section of LA called 'Toontown.'
Also, the sexiest animated rabbit ever, Jessica Rabbit, made her debut there. Sometimes I will refer to Dark Elf female in game as 'the sexiest toon since Jessica Rabbit' and no-one under the age of 25 knows what I am talking about.
Choco on Phoenix, but rarely on. Was Choc for years on Gustin. Choc on Luna but I mostly play on Teon. Because of my hours, I like the euro hours for sieging and empty servers for xp'ing.
LoL I know that movie pretty well. Ic everybody who i a fan to Jessica compares her to DE in game, nice.
Anyway i like Roger and Dark Elves but calling charaacter a toon is some how weird to me. Some how my friends in game call theirselves toons so i dont have any exit in this situation. Think will call my too.
In an odd follow up...there was an article in the newspaper this morning about how much Heineken sales are growing and how well the marketing campaign is going.
Marketing&Distribution > Actual Taste TBH, which was kind of the point of the thread.
Her manager, Larry Rudolph, poured cold water on a report that Britney would try to erase memories of her disastrous performance at last year's awards show by strutting her stuff at the Sept. 7 show.
"She did the promo for them, but there never were any plans for her to appear on the show," a spokesman for Rudolph said. The spokesman said it was "wishful thinking" when Britney's hair colorist told E! News that he might be working on a look for her VMA performance.
Spears is up for three VMA awards, including the coveted Video of the Year prize.
I couldn't drink Heineken after I visited the brewery a few years back when I was overseas. Got home from that trip and everything after that just tasted 'old' like it had been in storage for a while.
