Glitter Fields Revamped

So I rolled an alt in CT1 and while I was visiting some grinding points I stumbled across something amazing. Common Items as far and wide as your eyes can see :eek: :eek:

Opinions?

P.S: I'm almost sure that this is work of our "afk" friends....

Yeah, looks like their 'tools' haven't been updated. Make the most of it and pick up all the free crystals you can manage.

low level items aren't worth it. they weigh the same as normal items, and take up a slot per item

makes you overweight extremely quick and fills your inventory in a few minutes.

Crystals are always worth it! Pick them up and hide them in a corner or something, pm a dorf and tell him there's a hoard of crystals waiting for him for a few adena in exchange.... this opens up so many RP scenarios ;)

I found a bunch of low D-grade common items in EG last night, crystallized them on the spot with my noobie artisan. Almost not worth picking them up, 2 or 3 D-crystals/item :)

That's enough DCr for a pretty decent session of grinding for a melee toon!

Bots wont pick them up cause of slots and weitgh. So many crys on ground everywhere theres a bot grp on.

Yeah, I guess for real newbies the free D-crystals will be awesome. Too bad they are useless for my artisan, he has a HD+focus :(

give it a few weeks and the bot program should be able to auto crystalize

why a HD with focus? SA doesn't do anything with grade penalty

And I think bot programs can already auto-delete items, I think it's much more likely they haven't had the new Item-ID's added yet.

If you filled your entire inventory up with common items, you might get a few 100 crystals D grade, except before you reach that you would be at 99% weight limit and not be able to hunt at normal speed
I personally don't think D/C common drops are even worth picking up. they are barely worth a pile of adena form the same mob you got it from and they will weigh you down quickly

B+ is rare enough to not weigh you down so quickly, and 1 item is worth much more than a C/D is, at aprox same weight

If that is the stance on common item drops, I beg anyone on Sayah to PM "purp in game when they find such a field. I'll be more than happy to clear up the shinies for you.

Excuse you? I went and got my arty to crush everything in the spot while picking up at the same time. 600K IN ADENA IN FREE CRYSTALS. How does that sound? :eek:

HD with focus because I happened to have one, not going to remove the SA :P

In about two hours of grinding in DVC money room, we got common tallum gloves, common bw breastplate and common doom plate drops. Dunno how many crystals for each item, I didn't get any of them since I forgot to empty my inventory before going there and was full already :)
