There have been several +16/+17 of your weapon on NA servers alone, as there have also have been a handful of +16 A and S Grade weapons too, so I'm more than confident there are more, and higher enchants on Korean Servers, considering they are far more Hardcore then NA servers ever could dream to be.

someone's jealous :) you're right there have been several +16/17 but no +18's that i heard of on NA. As for Korean server, theres a lot of people who are "hardcore" and they do attempt to make +18 but coming from a source that plays on korean server, no one is successful o_O
As for your friend, let me ask you this. Do you know every and all +16 weapons that are in NA right now, and what server they belong to? I'm gonna venture a guess and say no, and considering there is far more Korean servers than NA servers, chances are your friend dosen't know that answer from the Korean side.
Either way, Gratz on your enchant, it's the highest I have personally seen on NA servers.
and you only get patk of a ss. what's the point? it's only good to level till 61 and even then after 52 it's better to get oe B grade as those B shots are much lighter.
if you make a homu from this it'll be better but still with heavy shots most ppl will pick OE SoV over this.
go OE some S grade and have it NOT confiscated by GM, then boast.
oh and I did OE kris to +16 and swapped that for SoV on the last PTS and to tell you the truth it's not much better than SoV +10 :) most mobs take the same nr of nukes anyway.
i dont see why you're bringing up argument in this thread about how an OE B item is better then a OE c-item... i swear some of the people on this board have the comprehension of a 3rd grader *sigh*
the reason i have the augmnet is so i dont drop the weapon, i would use top grade if i had the money but i dont like how the lightning aura makes the sword orange... i been using normal life stones but havn't got much luck in augments so i just sticked with a p.atk augment ~_~

this thread has nothing to do with comparing stats, its simply my accomplishment of getting a +18 weapon. Yet you keep talking about information that common sense, **** rehab.
But since you're not too bright lets use some examples:
Bloody Orchid which is low a-grade dagger unenchanted has 186 p.atk
Soul Seperator has 203 p.atk base unenchanted which is 2nd top a dagger..
My +18 dark screamer has 221 p.atk...

Try to get the Decrease Weight lv3 augment. It works like hell on every C-grd weapon if you need to carry alot of shots.
I got lvl 1 Decrease weight on homunkulus augment on first try for augment on my sub ES and i'm loving it. I can carry so many beast shots and other stuff that i can carry the whole loot from my around 4 hour worth of play and even have spare weight capacity. :)

I've seen a screenshot of +25 weapon before it changes colors like police car lights lol and a +50 is lime green :p
+50 wtf? I don't care to search for it but there was a dorf on Bartz that posted ss of his OE from +7 all the way up to +19 on a Yaksa back in C1(I think it was, maybe C2) then blew it on +20.

your initial +16 was still worse than safe enchanted +3 soul separator, that's my point. but ok you made it +18. why stop there, you'll need +25 to beat +3 angel slayer so go ahead.
imo B grade weapons are probably the best to get a high enchant on... if not A grade..... due to thier cheap SS and not to bad SA's.... A grade for it's PVP bonus though...

my question is: why do people have to pm you to get details on overenchanting. last i checked, it's still just clicking enchant scrolls and applying them to weapons, isn't it? if you're doing it legitimately, why not just post it here for everyone to see?

oe'ing weapons is psychological, some ppl thing oren castle town is best place to do it or a wh or never do it near a dwarth etc...... it's like opening a bottle of wine and leaving it to settle!! pondering when it's ready to drink, ew ea scrolls are very adictive much like hard drugs my advice is to keep away from them things! kids.......don't do them! keep away from them.

Krackwacker on bartz blew up his dark screamer going +20 more than a year ago. I am sure there are more higher than 18 floating around on bartz. I saw someone on luna selling a +18 the other day, was that u? My friend has a +17 on bartz right now :o

A friend of mine used to swear up and down that Einhasad Temple in Dion was the 'magic' spot for successful over-enchanting. He had this little ritual he'd go through.
He'd put all his enchant scrolls on his hotbar. He'd go to the Dion Church, drop 1 mil at his feet (like an offering to the gods), then have his girlfriend click through his hotbar. It used to make me laugh. But I gotta say that he did have a pretty high success rate.

I always use my SE and go to Aden Church to the High Priest.
I would first use the Bow emote then cast Kiss of Eva on her and ask for her blessings.
Also I never do more then 1+ over what ever + it is in a day. Got most of my +10 Weapons that way. ;)
It's it's my PW I just don't do the Kiss of eva part. So far I got +9 on my SS dagger ;)
I think toons have an invisible "luck" modifier. My PW has blown up everything I have ever treid to OE on him, while I have another toon that has only blown up 2 things and gotten a few to +8.
I fail. I was trying to +4 my fiances kat*kat's and i had equipped them on my dorf and my fiance says "omg in samarai tradition it is bad luck to hold someone elses sword!" and I said "well this isnt samarai its l2" and I tried +4 and got C crystals x.x

You see i would understand the rat if every little bit of the random food made him a bit stronger and then he started to glow white, then blue, and then when he was the buffest rat alive he would glow bright red! HELL YEAH! I would want to be rat number 3!

I don't know about everyone else, but I enchant everything in Giran. I don't have the patience to port anywhere else and go through any long drawn out ritual.
There are two things that I insist on when I enchant: 1. It must be at night (either in real world or the virtual world); and 2., my toons feet can't touch the ground when I click the enchant scroll.
Now that said, I have had both successes and failures with that methodology. If not, I'd be one of those people with a +99 weapon.

Yeah I think so too. Theres no way that I could be so consistently unlucky. I have a 20% success rate... I read somewhere (and it amounts to little more than a rumor really) that many things are taken into account when enchanting. Like your name (How many letters, how many capital letters, how many vowels), your stats etc. And by some unknowable equation that all adds up to equal your "luck" and determines your success rates. I got a name change when the servers merged, so I'll try again now and see if theres any change to my "luck" ;)
