Sk armor for grade C

Well im now level 39 so i will have to make a choice for what armor to use soon...

mostly duo with my SE, but tank a Kara raid pretty much everynight... Should i go Composite magic defence or full plate pure defence

I'd go Full Plate :P

Full Plate gives best P.Def, +Shield Def. Rate and +300 HP.
Composite gives weight bonus to carry more SSC, pots etc + M.Def which is very useful nowadays.
I'd say FP since the extra HP bonus is always good for D.Elfs.

yup there right when i was c grade like 3 years ago lol i used full plate it the best for tankers at ur lvl

Common FP set, don't waste your money on C grade armor.

Just to updated, i have get myself a Common FP set and im really happy with it so far now 46

when i was a grade i used both nightmare an majestic depending on where hunt,ect

I'd only take doom if you really really really don't ever plan to solo/duo/trio and only exp in large parties.

When I lvled my SK I started with avadon and it was really good, then I switched to doom because I thought it'd be more appropriate for a tank (I was young and naive) and was quite dissapointed when soloing, the dmg nerf was tremendous.

So in the end I had both a doom and a BW at hand, one for soloing/small parties and one for large parties. That is the best possible setup for a SK in B grade. (and A grade if you are poor)

If you can't afford 2 sets then go with avadon imo. (avadon should be pretty cheap now that it's sold in lux shop, haven't really checked tho cause I am in the pleasent situation that i have all my subs decked out by now :P)

i lvld my sk solo from 40 because sub to 75
the +10 dama back in the day on gustin server was a big help thanks to murtall letting me barrow it ^^ it took my sk all the way up to 78 an i did use doom no complaints about doom on my part the xtra hp was nice

Doom is just plain terrible when soloing.
The difference between doom and BW is 6 str. And 6 str are a LOT of patk.
As we all know patk directly affects your killspeed while HP does basically nothing for you when soloing (given you got buffs....)


I'll hold any bet that 95% of the people would prefer BW over Doom for soloing given the chance to test both sets.



And well, a +10 Dama is nothing common. Of course you can kill decently fast with a +10 Dama and Doom just because of the extremely high patk of the weapon, but that doesn't change the fact that you'd kill even faster (and I mean a lot) in BW.

Doom only tanking.
Avadon if you cant afford a Dooma nd BW set and want to solo and Tank.

just to updated, well after hitting b grade i had myself bw boot,bp,gaiters,gloves....hunt to get helm recipe for like 4-5 hour and could not have one to drop

So sold my BW glvoes-boots and got myself Avadon set and still have gaiters-bp that will serve for weapon when i will sell them...
edited" would using +4str -5con be too much of a hp loss at those level? most ppl said that 52-61 goes fast so do not wish to loose my AA yet
