I was wondering when taking a shot how you get rid of the chat box and all the other interface items for a clear screen of the character and landscape.
I thought it was in the options but i don't know were.

It is. We do this quite often, but it's not the easiest thing to do. You have to hit Print Screen, then paste the image into your image editing software (MS Paint, Photoshop, etc.). You can take only one screen at a time, unlike with the game client where you can take as many as you like.
Fraps works as an overlay and saves the need to alt-tab out of Lineage II and you can take as many as you like, with the added bonus of being able to record to a video file. Irfanview is free software which also has a hot-key based screen shot taker saving the need to switch out of Lineage II.

Old post I realize, but nice information regarding capture screen shots. In terms of using boot camp and a macbook pro, I have found a nice solution to the issues I was having of not being able to take screenshots. Problem solved!
