I honestly can't believe how many bots are on Phoenix. Where did they all come from?
I can see why the population is up...all the bots in the game have transfered there.
I couldn't believe that all the seeds in Gludin and Dwarf Village were all sold out at 1 minute after manor reset...lol.
Glad i am playing Devianne. There its just the normal amount of bots there and they are in the higher areas...at least they leave the lower areas for the real players.

Off topic, but something that really ****** me off is this lie going around that Chinese farmers don't exist anymore. I have no idea why people think that when the bot trains that I wipe out can only scream the same tired "Cao ni ma" and then a string of stuff I can't make out. Maybe it makes cheaters feel better to assume that there's no such thing as a legit player and everyone has their own trains running 24/7. Sure, I have no doubt that a lot of "players" make use of trains, but the Chinese are still very much here...and ******. :D

Real players were Dwarves at one time and they made fortunes. The bots didn't make the L2 economy...they killed it for many people.

It's the difference between shopping at Wal-Mart(union breaking, inhumane working conditions, cheap foreign labor that doesn't adequately compensate it's workers, low environmental standards, etc.) versus paying a little more to a company that actually supports communities and is a responsible member of the global economy.

The island was crammed with bots now it is empty. It is something that is well appreciated by the higher lvl community. On Aria there are full bot parties at Chromatic Highlands (you can be 9 in party there)...they have a BD to stay in shadow mode to not agro the water dragons.
HGMSpam...please take a visit on Aria to please and don't ban only the untagged bot, but also the tagged ones (even if they are in some major clan).

i seen a 20 man bot group run past me today and even though the lower areas are duo only there is nothing to stop bots having 20 oop buffers
either way this thread is gonna get locked cause of all the bot complaints and as much of a good job as spam has done on that server you can expect him to eventually stop showing up if all he gets in his "thx spam" posts is biitching
the economy has always been imbalanced but has gotten conciderably worse. Manor system pretty much wiped out the really money making abilities of the BH. Yes you can still make adena but it's much harder than it use to be.
IMO if all the farmers were banned tomorrow the game economy would crash and it would pretty much be the end of L2. Yes gear was suppose to be hard to get, but once the farmers started making everything much more available it made it easier to get that gear. Of course I imagine more than will admit it purchased what they have. In turn keeping the farmers in business. Most of theose people don't come to these forums anyway so don't think im talking about people here.
If all the farmers were gone tomorrow we would end up with the haves and have nots. Every server would become one sided and equipment would be next to impossible to find or afford. Don't get me wrong I wish they would ban them all tomorrow, gut they would have to make some drop table adjustments L2 wouldn't survive. If they had done it a long time ago before A/S grade became redilly available and everyone being able to have it now it wouldn't be so bad. But as it is now if the materials on the market all disapeared tomorrow most people wouldn't be albe to afford to craft anything. Base materials might go up for a bit and the lvl off once everyone starts manoring for themselves. However parts for weapons would be insane in price as well as trying to get them from drops.
All im trying to say is it's to late to think this game (as designed today) could ever servive without the RMT we all hate so much. Unfortunatley that is what the L2 economy has become.
I just wish that the ardent banning would have occurred so much earlier in this game than now... a time when the interest and population is waning.... The "farmers" are such an integral part of this game now, I believe the economy will crash without them and take some time to recover, which may be too late for this game.

Yes, they spoil the much-needed Metal Hardener from level 70+ mobs. That's why I like to have BH's in my party.

In C1 I was in a clan that was so hard up for materials that one of the officers invited a BH sight unseen. Yeah, maybe now there are a lot of high end clans that wouldn't even bother hitting the button it takes to pick up a metal hardener, then again there are a lot of people who are happy common items and newbie buffs are in the game.
We all play at different levels both literally and figuratively. In as much as I would like better spoils, I'd also like to look for a group and not hear, "lolololol Destro is t3h only AOE class". If the market wasn't flooded with thundreds of thousands of cheaply gathered mats that were collected 24/7 by automated farm teams then you might want that metal hardener and maybe even a BH to get more.

On Luna ppl talk openly about how they cheat and people who are not doing it are the outcasts of the server. People don't even untag anymore, it's an accepted part of the game there.
That really sends a good message to the players about how hard the staff works on "it".

bottom line, there are whole clans that have bot parties now doing nothing but gather mats and rep points for the clan. These are the ones that never seem to get very high up the food chain and one once in a great while, does ncsoft get so lucky as to get a serious chain of bans that puts the hurt stick on a given clan.
Now, move on to the pro bots. The ones that got taken out today. Those toons have a hugh amount of value, time and hopefully, alts on the same accounts. Those bannings are extremly siginifcant to both NcSoft and us. By taking out these types, it does put back the work it shoudl and does take to get the S80 stuff. We are already seeing S80 stuff on Bartz and the people wearing it are not the serious players. yes, they have the levels but you just don't see them out and about much except for seiges, war, etc. So they have stopped having a need to level completely.
Well, those S80 things are a serious grind for anyone.

that already happened when ct1 came out, there were ZERO bots in catas and all their shop toons got banned, the price of aa skyrocketed which in turn upped the price of every piece of a and s grade equipment
the price of aa didnt drop till months later
Your suggestion made me gasp. If all accounts were banned like that, I'd never resubscribe. I'd walk away and never play again. Too much work has gone into my toon for that kind of falderal.

Your absolutley right, but is because of the RMT problem. Every chronicle it has gotten harder and harder to collect enough parts to craft anything in your lvl range. I remember in C3 farming Homu blades and getting 2-3 a day. Now your lucky to get 2-3 in 10 lvls. Is it because of the farmers making everything so readily available that they keep nerfing drop rates, or is nerfing the drop rates the reson there are so many farmers? Who really knows but imagine what the price of a SOM blade(example) would be if all the RMT accounts were banned and all that Adena and materials were removed from the game.
Im not trying to justify RMT or famers, I hate it and wish they had done something more in the early stages of this game. Unfortunatley they didn't and has now become the greese of the economy wheel.
If all farmers were gone nobody would be able to purchase adena. The vicious adena cycle of farmer sells ebayer adena, ebayer spends adena on farmers items, farmer sells adena again, this cycle will end. This will result in lower item prices as there will be much less adena circulating on the servers. The huge inflation on servers is a result of this vicious cycle of adena that farmers created.
Prices would spike for the first few days as supplies of mats would be low but then people would adapt and farm the items themselves like the game was meant to be played. BH's would be almost required for any party. Just my 2 cents on the market coming from a 4+yr veteran of the game who has made billions of adena in giran.

I strongly feel if walker and private servers go away this would be the Best MMO period. I can even deal with the live farmers. hell they were fun having wars with back in the day.
It will come time when private servers will give up and die. In my opinion high rate servers are fun but for a short time because you reach ll to fast and easy. Not much players, bugs.wipes and lag. Every day servers dissapear and new apear but with no big success. I hope that the dead of private servers come soon! It would be great ^^,

I've been in pilgrims necropolis on pheonix this whole week and all of a sudden I ran through last night and all the rooms were full of mobs and the bots that had been there in every room all week were mysteriously gone :o

I started a new toon on TI just a few minutes ago and they're already starting up. Keep at it NCSoft! Don't stop now!
It is the never ending battle - but maybe, just maybe, Spam and team have actually figured out how to get them where it hurts. Lets just hope this is not just a "event" for the GMs this week.

Oh yes, log on to Phoenix and throw some bot ban nukes onto the whole Varka Silenos place. There is literally not a single spot there which isn't farmed by a bot party. It is impossible to play there >.<
