i d prefer paying money for other services, like change main/sub class that could be a paid service, according the last poll concerning the chose your destiny event than buying a pet.

Well, I'm playing here with my "collector's mania". My target isn't fast leveling to endgame, I want to collect pets, accessories etc. And I would pay for that. Other things doesn't interest me.
I think this are payed services which can be aquired if you buy time game cards or something like that. Or maybe of time you are playing in a certain of time you get something like "points" and those than later you may exchange. I dont think that those new things are just gonna be a new service to simple buy them. But well, soon we will see ^^

I dont think they are just pay services...this would be to basic and easy to bring out and later call it a "expansion" Gracia part 2. I mean, they could put all 3 parts together and make a big expansion. This part1,2 and 3 are so small..they even dont worth to be a "expansion" and call it part2. In my opinion those new things will be aquired with points you may aquire in may difrent ways. Like 60days game card = x points or 60days card + used play time = x points. ect ect..
I woudl love the horse, esp if I don't have to level it, but maybe just feed and rid the beastie.

If it makes the game better and DOES NOT affect balance, then paid services are fine and dandy. If you can buy your way to the top, then not much good will come of this.

I will tell you why: Others pay for my play time. In these games I systematically refuse to pay any penny on any and all services made available to it.
Then of course those folks who pay for services are in my view trying to be the "ONE", "L33T" or whatever silly thing there is. I know better as you can never stay the "one" even if you tried.
Someone will most likely trump you at some point in time.
So while they deplete their "plastic fantastic" I get to do whatever I want within those games. Best deal ever in my view.
I think horse, agathions and new summons will be in luxury like little angel and evil bracelet... nick colour in interface same like map macro...

Paid services in a F2P MMO are fine, but in a P2P mmo like L2, I don't think they belong. Now I'm not talking about the account services we already have, I think those are fine. I even think they should add some like the subclass to main and maybe extra character slots for the alt-aholics. But I don't want paid services for items in a game I already pay 15 bucks a month for. IMO, in a P2P game, all content and items should be available to me as long as I've bought the game and any expansions and pay my monthly fee. And if these items affect gameplay in any way (in other words, aren't just for looks), then I really don't think they belong.
Micro/Macro transactions will inevitably come, it's the only growth area for publishers' income .... most people are thinking ncsoft is just testing out the waters with nccoin and those buy a pet/ingame help service with aion in mind.
Anyways, i got no problems with them, if somebody wants to pay extra 10 bucks a month to ride a horse ingame I dont care. But the self brez/insta teleport services annoy me and I hope they never make it to l2 NA
Yea, It should be realesed faster, since the part 1 and 2 are really "tiny" to take so many time to come out or tested before. I even cant understand why they didnt put all parts together and make just one big release. Lets see if on part 3 they only release the new continent.
I think its crazy and a stupid ideia to make that nick name colours. I mean, just think about it. Everyone with difrent colours on their nick...this looks stupid >.< They should invent other stuff more useful like making new weapons or armor with better detailed grafics. Or making chars with more face changing/hair options. Making new items or whatever! At least something useful! And not coloured names...huuuu amazing -_-' For me the only really good and interesting part is going to be the final part where they add the new continent and maybe other stuff also.

Well as i sayed already on my other posts, i dont think that this is a pay service. It will be more a reward system for dedicated players or those who are often online. Like you buy in a store 60 days time card, and that brings "x" points for you after activation. And if you use from that 60 days card "x" time playing you also get some extra points. ect ect. and those points you may exchange for that new items. Thats my thinking, doesnt need to be true. But i would like that easy basic way like "you want a horse? so buy it for 20€!". No, that system would be lame in my eyes.

Having a big chronicle about paid services is going to suck, I am not paying anything more than my monthly fee doe this game, which is already asking a good deal. In my opinion this Chroncle is going to be something of a rip-off if they don't include new areas or skills or something that you don't have to pay for.
Let me put this plainly: If people who use paid services aquire a substancial advantage over those who don't want to shell-out even MORE money, then I am leaving this game without a second thought.

also I wonder what will they include into Gracia part 2 on the NA servers since they're not including paid services at all (for example, the paid solo kamaloka instance was not enabled on NA servers). Probably it will be epic update with no new content and a few skill and thing changes, and that they'll call new update. either that or they finally implement in-game paid services... which means that solo kamaloka will probably go in, too. this is most probable thing because NCNA are obliged to do what Korea tells them to, they either obey or lose contract :)
i'm gonna spend a fortune for this game, spend all my money, so i am COOOL in game. because i sux at RL. Way to Go Ncsoft... better change back all servers to interlude and we can have fun again, instead of stupid competition, who got best + enchant + aug+ pk count+[censored] in the pants :P

not really. if they are buffers then two things will need to happen:
1: youll need to level it to an obscene level to get a miniscule buff
2: it will cost you HUNDREDS of millions of adena to level it, only to find out that even at lvl 80 they are 1shot to an elpy.

I'm not sure if the flying heart intrigues me in a way to make me believe that the developers have discovered a new inspiration in the whimsy and magic that could possibly propel the game towards new and exciting directions or makes me want to die. :o
Who sayed that this are going to be payed services? maybe in korea and so on, but that doesnt mean we will have that also. As far as i know that new kamolaka thing or whatever that is called in korea you only can access in a net cafe or pay for it or something like that.
In my opinion they aint pay services but yes, bonus services. You need points to change them for those items. Point you may aquire for "x" playing time from a game time card. And if yu buy game time cards, they will bring points ect ect. I think this is more logical to me than just make it a basic "pay service" which is just rediculous for L2.

1) koreans have 3 kamalokas, 2 of those are paid. we have only free kamaloka.
2) koreans have "account change" paid service. ours operators thinks "players don't need this service". why do they think so? this is just a few scripts for the plaync.com. no polls, no questions. only the resolution.
the new (horse, special scrolls, special pets etc) services are not services by itself. they are bonuses. in korea they have a number of tariffs to pay for L2. for example, they have tariffs "100 hours of play for 30days", "300 hours of play for 30 days", "unlimited time for 30 days", weekly tariffs and 60-days tariffs. for each kind of tariffs they have different numbers of bonuses you can claim. we have no tariffs other than "unlimited time for 15/30/60 days". CC tariffs are same, but you can subscribe for longer time. i don't believe that ncsoft will upgrade the plaync.com to give us these bonuses. i don't believe we will have different tariffs some day.
so, no, i very doubt if we'll have such services in the near future after T2.2 goes live.
Well lets wait and drink some tea in the meanwhile ^^, I just hope that those new things are not payed services...its kinda stupid..And instead of that, they should make more armors for lower lvls and higher lvl players. Armors with more spectecular looking and not those basic armors they have done until now. The only exception is S80. There they did some better work. But comon, all the other armors and nothing special. Even some S grade armors dont look kinda special or awsome. I think there ncsoft should take a look and create a bigger choice of armors and put some great detail on them. Its even rediculous to make Gracia in 3 parts. 2 tiny parts with maybe some payed services in future is lame. All are just waiting for the new continent and nothing more because the other things arent that much important. The only positive thing in my opinion is that solo playing is a bit easier now on the beginning. That was a nice move to get new players to the game. Because many get frigthen off by the hardcore gameplay to lvl at the beginning and getting gear.
But well, maybe they give the game time cards like tariffs. 15,30 and 60days will have diffrent tariff points. Lets see and wait when it come official, because now all is just speculation.
If we will have to pay for that "services" it will be very unfair. But i dont think we will have to pay, or other players can sell them for adena, something. And "donate for services" would be very stupid idea... IMO

korea is a (relativelly) small country where you can distribute 10 different types of time cards easily. NA/Western Europe are much larger geographically and consequently not as easy to do. Think about it, it's hard enough finding 1 timecard in many countries, how many shops do you think will carry 10 different types even if ncsoft made them available?
And the second kamaloka isnt paid. Ncsoft has a business deal with one of 3 major netcafe chains in korea, going at one of those netcafes and buying some computer time you earn credits, using those credits your can access the second kamaloka (which seriously is nothing to write home about,)

TBH I dont get what you all have against those paid services. The majority of the community is spending extra money already, or using other means to get more ingame cash, so why not have a service that makes it possible withIN the EULA? Are you all really that blind to believe that +++Weapons drop from mobs or are enchanted first try by pure luck? Do you all believe that all those wkegfql3itg are on their toons and reached top level by grinding? I remember when the Feathered Hat came out, the effort or the amount of money to get the mats for one craft was astronomical, hence we called this hat "ebay hat". Now why would it be wrong if we could pay for Agathions (again, instead of spending 100m adena of mats for a chance to get one from lux store), get a new mount, new head accessory etc.
