Hey there fellas, did a quick search which ended up failing miserably but perhaps I just missed it anyways I was wondering if anyone had a link or a website where I could download the OST from lineage II? I love the "after the storm" and other songs but cant find them to download.. sure listening to them off of the site is nice and all but dosnt really help for when i want them outside of my home or even in a play list..
Im sure there in the game package somewhere but havent found them on my comp any tips suggestions? thanks guys
Seeing as how I already own the game, pay for a subscription and paid for the activation to pay monthly you'd think i could download something thats already built into the game :) Guess ill look around and post if i find anything :)

Only because you bougth the game for activate your acount doesnt mean you have the right for all the songs ingame ;) If you buy a movie and like the music you have the right only because you bougth the movie to download their songs? No, i dont think so. I know they sell that CD from lineage II OST so there is a reason they sell it. But well everybody know difrent ways to avoid it ^^, Google a bit its easy to find.

Well, movies songs are not made for them, L2 music was made for it and I bet who made them was paid. And in movies we dont even get close to listen to the full music.
And we pay for L2 monthly.. the best reason to have the right to download it.

AFAIK, the 4th edition box comes with a soundtrack CD. i didnt buy it cause i personally believe its not worth my money, but you might decide otherwise.
If I get the green light from a mod I got them rar'd up (69 songs). updated from Oath of Blood. since then there has only been a handful new songs, so it's pretty up to date.
I really don't think the official forums are a good place to discuss pirating the game music. ^^;;
That said, there are places you can listen to the music without downloading anything such as seeqpod. It isn't high quality like an mp3 download, but it is good enough to figure out if you like the music and want to pay for the cd or expansion pack. ;)

I can't really condone this since we only have the rights to put up streaming music on our site (not downloadable MP3s), sorry. If you want to share links and such, I'd recommend doing it via instant messenger or PMs. :)
To answer the original poster's question, some Lineage II soundtrack CDs have been made in the past. I'd recommend looking around online at sites that sell import CDs, if you're interested in buying them. Unfortunately, we do not have any for sale here, and we can only to put the music up on our site in streaming format.

I still get goosebumps from hearing that song that was playing on the login screen in the open beta client
But its nnowhere to be found :( its not being sold on his web page any more and the songs that are/were available on the official site must be some new soundtrack as its not the songs im thinking of

Well I wouldn't call it pirating, the game soundtrack was never officially released like say a music CD or hell even a Final Fantasy OST which have been sold.

And you can still order it from the NCSoft homepage (if you're Euro, of course :p).
It also has a lot of nice stuff, in game (black mask, ...) and out-of-game (artwork book, soundtrack cd, kamael figurine, posters, mini standee, ...), so i really didnt regret buying it !

That's funny. Is it a "only people who are able to find a streaming to mp3 converter deserve it" policy?
Frankly, that "streaming no download" craze is really stupid. Tell them Alyra!
A few years back i just used a converter tool from ogg to mp3. Since all music is in the musik folder it was easy to obtain the OST. Havent tryed that again since then but i guess it will still work.

the ogg files in lineage2\music are now encrypted :(
there are some .... questionable .... ways around it :p
