It's been a long time since we've had an event, does NA NCSOFT now have the staff anymore to arrange an event? This is my first request since I started playing in closed beta. I've kept at least 2 accounts active since then, make a faitful customer happy and give us event. Preferably an event that gives element stones, as I don't ebay adena and have to actually farm them. With that crappy fail rate of elements that I have gotten lucky to drop, I need all the help I can get :P
I'm pretty sure everyone else is ready for event, NCSOFT....make your customers happy.
Yes, please! A nice fun one that someone who hasn't made it to 7x yet can play.
And if you really wanted to be nice, you could add a little something extra for the poor, neglected ickle bitty Bounty Hunters. (see signature below) :)
How about an All Out out PK event with no Karma no pk Points instead for every 50 pks you get a Event Chest in your inventory that you can open and get some random Item. With the normal high chance for some worthless item but a Low chance for an A or S grade weapon with a 1 in a 43784327851784785147523723152 chance for an S80 Weapon. :D
- can only atack player that are between 5 lvl above and beneth your lvl
- cant kill the same char several times/need to wait xx min to be able to kill him again
- no xp loss I guess
The bunny event was the most fun after the Raid Boss event... it was an event that actually gave meaningful stuff to players instead of the same old fireworks and echo crystals!
We should have the bunny event again. Or make it a "turn into pumpkin" event since I guess the next holiday is Halloween :3

So as soon as they flag back, they lose 4%? That makes no sense.

I prefer 5 lvl diff...79 vs 69 is pretty unfair :p
I liked the Lineage 2 anniversary event, where you got the "letters" that looked like the blocks lil kids play with. If you spelled out LINEAGE or some other words, you could trade for stuff. I got a ton of EWD/C scrolls from that event. They dropped like crazy!

PVP event?
I'd consider it, but only if there are no safe zones anywhere, not even within clan halls or villages, and lowbies automatically get Celestial Shield cubics as well as a VERY powerful summons that can actually kill a much higher level player. Kind of like giving a nuclear weapon in the form of baby rattle to a 1 year old.
Also, bsoe's, return, party return and other get-my-*****-outta-dodge-quick(!!!) skills can be used, but only at the expense of 99.9% of your CP, HP and MP. More than likely wherever you land will be your grave.
That said, ultimately, we all know this would be dubbed the Bot-Slayer event.
That event would be irritating to say the least. You would not be able to ANYTHING else. No sell shops, no raids, kama events would turn into backstabber instances.
A.D.D. griefer heaven.
DUMB IDEA.
Take this whole idea and make it a "consentual" duel, put it in ARENA's only. Then you could actually make some money, battling ppl 5 lvls +/- yourself. Even go so far as to make special event arenas for certain levels, similar to how the Kama is.
If it was world wide, it would get warped into something it wasn't meant to be and only the ppl with uber OE'd gear would dominate. I can see a million reasons why this would go wrong.
Griefing tends to be a one sided affair. What I propose pretty much ensures that everyone can be had, by anyone and everyone, at least once an hour. You have the other 59 minutes to set up your sell shops and such. :D :D :D

+1 teleport kitties event is more of an insult. Guess that's all someone at NCSoft think that the player base deserves - Let them eat cake, errrr... have teleport kitties - imo, the punishment should be the same lol
this halloween they should give transform stuff for rewards, talismans, scrolls, and more permanent sealbooks. first halloween where u can accually dress up in game lol, so might as well go with it.

back to the subject, I vote YES we need and event! It has been way to long :confused:
one with good rewards too, not hair and face pots please! :p
It doesnt even have to be original! Squash, Bunnies, Pigs, Mobs outside towns, Medals, Letters, anything, but with good rewards like those had :) Put Alyra in charge of the rewards! :)
oh, and please put the nifty BREZ hats as a reward! :) now that they work better with short regen :p I got a little use out of them after they were fixed but they seem to **** out with like 25-30 mana still left they won't work anymore :( With the shorter regen they should :confused:
i want brez, i already have hats with something, circles without anything and other stupid items. now i want brez, as it's really helpful sometimes. :p
The brez hats work a lot better now and give many uses since they fixed the regen time so it's very short so I prefer hats over the scrolls :p
oh and this isn't the right place for it but my brez hats all stopped working with about 25 or 30 minutes/mp left :/ now with the shorter regen that's a lot of uses taken away :confused:
but i'll take scrolls too :) and Life Stones, and Element Stones (those HB people are getting all the good Element Stones :(
