Can someone explain to me why shining edge gives so little damage?! .....
it's a mortal blow .....it has the power of dagger mortal blow.... i have a lot of active and pasive critical power skills
and i hit just a little more than with triple thrust ....wich has much less power
What level are you? At low level it kinda sucks, but at A grade, with a crit damage weapon, Death Whisper, the power is insane... It's mortal blow, thus it benefits from crit buffing 'stuff'. The difference is even noticeable from the crit power herb added with Gracia.
You can take out someones entire CP in one shot with this skill, if it lands(which is a lot). It has a 4 second average re-use. It is not weak...
Yup its the coolest skill... in pvp you can make great fast hard combos like ShadowBind/Dark Flame/Shining Edge - if it lands your opponent will be rooted, then will try to run showing his back and then shining edge does the rest... or a dark flame/Rush/Shining edge combo works well too. It's a great skill, but using it for behing, full buffed can do as much damage as Checkmate.
Remember soul breakers (or any kamael) are not characters to use ina face-to-face combat. You gotta work out strategies so your opponent stays within a safe range, otherwhise we are dead. Combos are a good option since SB skill use time is good. Posibilites are ok too since we get a lot of debuffs. For example, you work your way to hit a mage differently than an archer, even though they are ranged attackers. OR a tyrant differently than a gladiator. Anyway, Shining Edge is a great skill, it worths the SP (not like spread wing lol) Cya!
