hi, well i would like to know what are some Level kamalokas about, since dont know them and cant find any info on the net at least i want a few useful info so i can try them and what party i should take.
so far i know Lv.36 is an eye that spawns minions and very easy.
Lv.43 is a stakato that spawns healers, horribly hard.
Lv.46 a dumb wyvern that does nothing XD (well petrify random person) but still easy if ignore that it got a LOT of hp
Lv.53 a red demon that spawns undeads that explode. Hellish hard, need a experienced party for this one...
but well if anyone could give info on the 33, and the others i'm missing would appreciate it :)
33 is a golem I believe... I can't actually remember even though it was only last week that I did it! (0-51 in just under 2 weeks!!).
Kams suck and are a waste of time.
I'd much rather spend my time raiding, and getting VP points, and staying at lvl 4 VP then doing kam, and losing VP bars in 1 shot.
only thing kam's are good for is the drops. I've done a couple with only a hand full of people and some decent drops, my buddy even said they got a full drop weapon in one of them.
I've done a healer from lvl 21-40 in about 4 days, started at 16 when new up date came, and got to 21 after about 4 quest where done. ONLY BY RAIDING.
Kamaloaka is amazing, what are you talking about? I just did one at my lvl 34 with two others for the level 36 one, I got 75% experience... A usual raid taking about same time would give around 50%. I suggest doing a kamaloaka then go to raiding.

Just run away alitle and wait for him to run after you again . Repeat and win.
Did it with a Warder lvl 37 and a Artisan 34.
It's cool for lvling academy alts actually. Log alt, do koala, log main.
10 minutes => ~1,5 lvls. Do it every day and you lvl your alt extremely fast considering how little effort you put into it. Koala is always up, you don't have to run far. Very convenient exp.
I didn't really find the 53 koala to be hard, but then again I had a rather big group when we were in there.

I really don't know why people call it Koala cause the name Kamaloka has nothing to do with the word Koala though.
But it's something that came around in the PTS, and I still fail to see how Kamaloka became Koala :P lol but oh well, yes, Koalas are cute.
Back in topic, I've done some of them. The pre-50 ones are pretty decent. I haven't done the 53 one, but we got owned on the 56 exactly because we had no clue on how to deal with the minions. And we didn't have a good party setup either.
I like Kamalokas, although I'd rather go in there with a char that has full vitality in order not to lose the little bars. I'm addicted to them now :)
on The 56 one, you get a tank, a healer, a dd(s) fight, if the minions are on you, run around in circles making sure you don't get hit, if the minions are on the tank, stop fighting, if the minions are on the healer, take precautions, if the minions are on the dd, who cares.

yeah i tried that strategy one day but need really PATIENT and intelligent ppl or at least people who know how to obey orders, because went with SH, prophet, Berserker, Artisan (was around 39 i think ) SB and Destroyer and mid-battle the destroyer started saying to kill minions because a few got unsilenced for a sec and healed the boss a lot.
then he and the artisan screwed up started killing silenced minions and well obviously respawned instantly and instantly healed it.

And it went down without major problems. One thing to note about it is that it disarms the DDs which can get annoying if you don't pay attention :P
its easier then that.
I've done it with: tyrant (my sub), tank, Glad, WC.
IMO; we could easily drop the tank, and add a BD for better DPS. Its only when the minion does a Bsps M. crt that it gets hard. I haven't had that happen, but my friend did.
43 one is a flying drake of some sort, it does a short term Para, and stun, annoying, but not hard.
33 is a pain in the as$. Basically when u see the bear running to you, as soon as he stops he'd getting ready to do his powerful AoE atk, u got about 2 seconds to move out of the way, but it can be done. BEST to take a healer in with you for that one.
Haven't done the 56 one yet, and totally skipped the 46 one to. I did 36 like 2 times, that one is really easy, it spawns a single minion once every 2 minutes or so.
Hint for the 56 is to take a Summoner with you that has plenty of spirit ore. The minions neigh indistructable so dont fight them stay on main when the minions are on you run them around til the target switches. If you have a summoner betray the minions as the person is running around and watch them hit there boss.

The person that has agro needs to just run around in a large circle to avoid getting hit while everyone else stays on the boss.
Perhaps then Curse Discord would work on the minions as well? What about Forget? Are they social to the boss or what?
I have only been to the 56 once and we got our [censored] handed to us, but I was on my Shillien Elder, I was wondering if my Necro curses would work on the minions. If Betray works, then perhaps Curse Discord and stuff like that would too.

I tried doing the level 46 one with 2 characters and after wasting 30 minhutes and got the boss to 20% hp, no matter how quick I would kill the minions another would respawn a second later. It was useless. Then I switched focus to the boss only and the minions outhealed me back to 50%. I soed, said [censored] it and never did another one after that.
Well that are some nice hints for the kamaloka instances. I will keep them in mind when i reach higher lvl for try them out ;)
Until now, the kamalokas were not hard..just a bunch of HP and just hitting it.
Level 46 is probably one of the easiest ones to do besides the very low level ones. I skip 43 just because its a pain and oddly because 46 is so much easier. Just bring ghp's and with 3 DD's its done fast (within 15 minutes). I wish they were all this easy.
43 you need 2 people who can sleep those stupid things that come out while you have a few DD's to kill the boss. If you got that, then you got this level done.
53 isn't that hard as long as you have one healer. That is all you need. When that stupid black moving exploding thing comes in, all the DD's (who dont have boss on them) move out of its range quickly before it explodes then get back on the boss. The person tanking the boss has the healer to help when it explodes. Simple.
Havent tried 63/66/73 so looking forward to those who have and what they found as a good strategy like some of the posts already.
The 73 has minions but all they do is recharge you and soul confine you. However, I don't recommend the 73. The xp isn't very good for the time you spend, the drops mostly stink (2 of 3 times in all we got were phoenix gemstones, once we got a single eaa), and it drops your vitality level.
Well from experience with the kama's i've done i was 51 on my AW at the heine one with a SWS lvl 45 i think and A ps LVL 44 maybe and we did it easy, and then i did gludio with my EK and 3 others fairly easy and a 6 man party with me and clannie both lvl 55 OL's and only healers party was good a dwarf tanked it and we didn't have anyother clannies with us. so kama's are ok the drops sucked though cept the gludio one where i got cursed stockings.
The 20's almost always give EWD/EAD. Once we got 9 EAD's. Several times also included D grade tunic and no grade heavy breast (made no sense).
Haven't done 30's.
In the 40's we've pretty consistently gotten enchants for weapon and armor- for weapons one max, for armor we got 8 once.
For 50's, usually we get weapon/armor enchants and once got a full drop for top c grade fists. Usually also get some blades (who cares about those anymore!!).
Haven't done 60's yet.
Already commented on 70's.
Occasionally get nothing at all (usually on Monday when I figure they run out of inventory to maintenance on Tuesday - JUST KIDDING)!!!
For XP/time - seems worthwhile to 50's. Not sure about 60's. Again already commented on 70's (not worthwhile imho).
We do the 73 when we don't have enough to get a real party going. At 77 I get about 0.25% xp, and the drops really do suck. We usually get an EAA and phoenix jewelry parts, and a couple of times a phoenix earring has dropped. You really just need a few DDs and a healer or two (for buffs/heals). The boss isn't hard, but towards the end I sure get tired of being Soul Confined all the time (it breaks my singing macro ><)
Ya hurts dances too. Ever noticed if someone is the party is soul confined they don't get the dance or heal? Surprised you've gotten EAA most times - we got it only once.
