Actually, Alyra, my necro is the one that I'd look more alike, since I ended up with almost the same haircut by accident :) (Like, I didn't MEAN to have the same haircut but it turned out this way).
And it's a pity that the voices can't be used. I'd win with my Dorf Handstand impersionation. Spuddy has heard it and can attest to the simiilarity of it :)

It's the same every time. Something about Canadian laws. The Quebec thing probably has to do with everything being in French. Rhode Island just sucks so who knows?

...would it have killed the staff to run an event FIRST and the 'contest' afterwards?
Given the extreme lack of actual 'particapatable' events this year and the repeated calls for such an event by a significant number of people who actually post on the boards, putting what is essentially a 'spam' contest (requires no effort at all on the part of NC to 'setup') instead of a honest-to-god-hasn't-been-seen-for-a-year event is an Epic PR failure.

The rules are killing me. I could totally pull off some accessories that I don't have on any of my toons and probably won't for a long time. >< Can I photoshop them on to the toon photo?..lol
I just noticed this contest goes to the 26th. Does this mean that there isnt the possibility that we wont have an actually in-game event till after this is done? And if thats the case I doubt we will see one till the following week at the earliest.
Basically another month goes by without an event.
Bunny Money, March 7th to the 16th was the last real in-game event. So its been 6months already, soon to be 7. Events are becoming like new content....you get them once or twice a year.
I wonder how many entries have been made - not much discussion or teasers of anyone having done so.
I'd quite happily enter, however my partner has only just returned from Uni vacation and we've not had time to scrape something together.. so maybe next time for me.

Ye of little faith ;). We actually have our 3 winners. And the official announcement will be made "on or about Friday October 3". I am hoping that we'll be able to put up the page today. But if not, look for it on Monday!
Oh, and I'm not sure how you are still seeing the updater image. We took that down days ago. And I just went to check it, and I'm not seeing it. I know the Mouse event image is still up. Were you maybe thinking of that?
