Prices for mats are sky rocketing. I initially though that was because of the rush for mastercrafts but I am seeing less and less of those 20.000+ amount of mats selling them for cheap each passing day. Is NC strat (if there is really one) working ?
No it is not , sadly ... people have just figured it out that if they are patient and wait they can find those few crafters who would pay the high amount of $$$ for mats.
Thats what playing the market is ... patience. Supply and demand prices sky rocket cause the supply can not simply the demand or there are those few who form a cartel you see them in giran all the time sitting down , they set their prices high and do not change them day after day , eventualy the market will take the price THEY set as given and buys from them, or other sellers raise their prices.
This all happens because of a unhealthy enviroment, both parties do not have the same advantages , one always has more advantages , more time to play the game, more knowledge about mats drop rate, one plays a BH, one uses hacks and cheats to beat the manor system, one uses a walker, one ebays ... those who don't have these advantages are the few who get taken in by the market in the end.
If all were equal then prices would not have sky rocketed, some are systematics of the game i.e manor and BH , some are player derived systematics to feed their ambition for more, more and MORE.
Yes they ve banned a lot of the catacomb trains, at least on franz, that's why ancient adena believe it or not sells at 9 to 1 this week. And yes certain mats are in short supply as a result.
No it is not working, at least on Aria. You can't go to Varkas or Isle of Prayer without running into them. They pretty much taken the best spots for both.

I manor and spoil my own mats. Same goes for AA. If that is not enough to get what I need, then I set up a buy shop. Also forming parties with others, especially one or more spoilers I know. :p

When Gracia first launched I couldn't find a bot to wipe the buffalo **** off my Nightmare Boots... but slowly they began returning... I understand there is a pay-to-bot program and an older free one... maybe the free one doesn't work with the update and only the botters making mucho rice are willing to pay for the one that costs? I dunno... but the little buggers are back.
