Key mapping / binding

How many of you rebind the F1-F12 keys to 1-10 + something else ?

I m just curious since I do it and feel it is more natural. My "something else" are the keys next to the 1-10...

No need to remap anything...

You use the "enter chat" function and shortcut bar 1 is f1-f12 and shortcut bar 2 is the numbers 1 to 0 i think or +.

I always put all my skills on the frst bar and cp pots and stuff on the 2nd bar.

Press f1 to use a skill and keyboard 1 to use a cp pot.

No, I've used F1-10 since day 1.. F11 and 12 are just bonuses lol.. still not used to using them.

I have "enter chat" enabled, but I still use the F keys...I guess I'm used to them

how can you not use 2 of the main shortcut bar keys......i use all 3 shortcut bars at the same time :)

I have them extended, of course, as there are so many things you can put there now but I'm still using F1-10 for my main skills and items. I normally use F11/12 for rarely needed stuff like antidotes and bandage. Before F11/12 were introduced I'd normally pick them from my inventory when I needed them... I guess I'm still 'old'skool'.

I have 3 subs and a Bish, PP, SE all 77. Never used more than F1-F7. 3 shortbars are freaking me out! Even in pvp all u need is 'hit and run' (on dwarf) which is= F2 and F3 for stun. And 'heal and run' (on bish) = which is F3 and F5 (celestial).
Using 3 bars? What for? I can only assume the need when I switch from majestic robe to DC robe in 2 secs tops with the help of alt+num_1 - num_5.

Thanks for m4r1us - didn't know that "Enter chat" allows using secondary and third shortcuts without pressing Alt. Mine life will be easer.

woonaloow. You say dwarf ... spoil, sweep, potions,fake death, stun, what else, ok bsoe scroll. Ok agree, spoiler have little skills :)
For example mine main - BD using 3 shortcut bars and 2 other bars are semi filled. Soul breaker is using 3 bars, and I see that in future it will lack of 36 shortcuts.

On my spoler I have first bar full and 7/12 on each 2nd and 3rd bar (I like to keep some space between function related skills)


On my new EE I have 3 full bars already....and my spellhowler has 2 full bars...and they are just lvl 29 !

Oh, okay, I knew about the enter chat thing... but my brain is programmed to use the numbers and chat boxes... I gotta retrain myself when my whole party or myself is not at risk!!

Yes, it would be so much easier to hit a one, and get myself cp pots while hitting F1 to heal... but i can just imagine someone asking me what my % is and going to type 15% and having cp pots and boa go off instead! lol.
