I am playing a level 68 (warlord ofc) and and just came back to Garcia. I'm wondering, where would a poler xp now that the catacombs have been made safe for "automatons" (I mean untrainable)?
Right now I'm doing open field poling in ABG which with vitality is not bad, but still, when catas were open I was getting on average almost twice the amount of xp in there compared with ABG.
I am hearing that multiplying mobs in Wall of Argos are all the rage, but I went there, seen some pink mobs the port spot ( can only train effectively green mobs if they are not 1/2 hp, and I assume mobs are lowest level at the port spot) and camped by the above mentioned "automatons". I got disgusted and left. Do I need to snoop around more there ? Are there other spots for level 68 ?
Haven't found something that really "ticks" so far.
Hmm for some reason I always assumed there would be multipling mobs in WoA, never did explore the place past the port spot though :P.I just heard that it was supposedly good for poling :).
Frozen labirinth, does it have mobs that are good for up to level 68? Also assumed that it was a lower level range.
Will go and find out :P.
And pulling one room at a time in a cata is not the issue, the issue is finding all the rooms camped by bots which I cannot train as I did in the previous chronicle :P.
I can grab mobs from 1 room and pull them into another in Heretics with no problem, at most I lose 1 or 2, that and my stuns are enough to take out full parties of our automated uncles.
Hmm... I learned that in order to effectively train them, a player has to bring mobs from "bad" rooms (the kind of rooms bots don't usually stay in because of stunners or nukers), and those rooms are usually further away. To wipe clean a room of bots you need a lot of punch, otherwise if you just bring a few easy mobs they just run to hall, res their dead and keep going :). At least that's what they do at my level range.
Last time I tried it with nearby-room mobs I could take them to the bot room BUT the mobs disappeared before hitting the bots (I think as soon as they switched aggro); there was a medium hall between the rooms, so that might have been a factor. Probably should try more to see if I can get it to work...
... if I get lucky enough to find two free rooms next to a bot room will give it another try, but then again if I could find two free rooms I wouldn't need to train them :P
Still what I would like to know is not how I can get back in catas (though that is good to know for when I'll need AA), but what other xp spots you know, besides catas and classical half hp group field AOE spots. :)
I play in WoA kinda frequently, or atleast used to and nope, never bumped into multiplying mobs, lol. FL is like what? 55+? i think it stretches far into the 60's, not sure on how far but pronghorns and buffalos multiply into 7 or so mobs there ^^
WoA, is more suited for around lvl... 72 till 75 i think, i used to pole the bandersnatchers there, easy killing (detect weakness) and awesome xp :)
dude.. wait to 77... range stun = bot bane
u can use it on non-flaged ppl ... its is AOE stun and HEX (-30% Pdef if successfull)
just stun healers :]
Don't forget it's -30% Mdef aswell ;)
Tho it only lands on the white bot that you targeted, if there are others around that are purple they will get hit too, if they're white then it's just 1 target (not sure about clanwar rules?)
