...after a year away. I knew my old server Gustin no longer exists, so was expecting to have to change. What I didn't expect was to find myself back at level 0! So I'm asking the question before I might make a mistake. I want to start on Luna (being a Euro, and Euro servers not existing bitd when I started playing), but I don't want to have to work myself back to level 77 from scratch. Are there are other servers I can join which will allow me to retain my level? Surely not all Gustonians had to start over when the server closed down? Please let me know, as I'd hate to make a mistake from login and lose everything I've worked so hard to attain.
Many thanks L2 community - it will be good to be back. I've had a L2 shaped hole in my life which other games don't close to filling.
Your toon should be on Phoenix with no changes made to it. If it is not there and it is, as you say, level 0, then open a case through the NC support site.

As long as you didn't have higher lvl toons on the other server that merged with Gustin then your guys should all be there. If not then you have to submit yourself to the support ticket button. A lot has changed and levels will fly by with the vitality system. You should have loads of fun as long as you can find some friends to ride the ride with. You may have po'ed some potentials with your post tho lol.
To the other person: You know using a elevated register on a game forum to flame and sound super intelligent really doesn't convey the desired effect...seriously. Now I could rattle off a literary pedigree or even the number of languages I can form complex sentences in but that would just make me sound desperate :p

This is a simple remark that really was meant to be light hearted. So you say you were standing up for me and all the citizens of this country? No. No, you haven't. TheObserver has a nail/head scenario going on. He is absolutely right; I was not meaning to be offensive to NA in the slightest, it was, to use the American vernacular, mild joshing. I've been to the States, I have many friends in L2 and IRL who are Americans (and even Canadians! :)

And on a positive note, many thanks to all those on here and in game who have welcomed me back. I had a very bad L2 addiction bitd, but I aim to keep that in check this time around (no more 48 hour straight sessions when I would hallucinate about mobs in my living room and the nightly dreams of being chased down by Fallen Orc Captains...)
Actually when people make fun on USA, a lot of times I agree with them. Our current Leadership has messed things up so badly with not only our country but the rest of the world and sometimes I am ashamed to admit that I live in the "Imperial City".
Yes Jyrki, but come on, I wouldn't have got so many sales with lines like 'Come and get your 10 a penny crap that you are too lazy to farm yourselves'. And to be fair, things like Heart of Paagrio were extremely rare before they fixed the wish potion quest (which I have done more times than I care to admit). I did overuse the 'rare' tag though; ramping prices up with our cartel of SB sellers was great fun. I'd get friends in the business to PM people shouting for books offering the books they shouted for at crazy prices, making my original offer look like a bargain in comparison :)
We'd help each other out too by giving each other books to sell as package deals for certain classes, thus commanding more adena. Was a fabulous business, with some great people involved like fifthelement and magicotta. At its height I had guys working for me, hunting books to order which they'd sell to me knowing full well that I'd charge up to 10 times more than what I'd paid them. All about the supply and demand (with a little of the ripping people off if you could get away with it ;)
It might not have always been ethical, but it was legit within the confines of the game, and sure beats having to scam, bot or buy your way into top gear, the route so many others depressingly go down.

topic-ish: never hallucinated but i had dreams early on after a full day of grinding...ELS drop OMG. As hard as it was I sorta miss those days when you needed that full cruma party to xp and get drops. Now the manor system (when it works) makes it a lot easier to build cash and craft what you need. XP wall meet Mr Vitality.
