I have seen a few posts concerning dye/tattoo setups for the Male Kamael specifically Soulbreakers.
My current setup is +5 STR +2 CON -7 DEX. I did this purely for experimentation during pvp. It is an "OK" setup. I went +2 CON because I use Drac armor. The Draconic Bonus is +1 STR +1 DEX and -2 CON. I wanted to get back my 2 CON so I added the +2 DYES.
I am making a radical change to my setup. I will test it out over the next week. I am extremely excited to try it out and can not wait for Mammon to arrive so I can purchase the DYES.
I already know what I am going to change concerning my CON/STR/DEX.
My question is this: Has any of you played with the -4 INT +4 WIT dye setup yet???
How do you like it or dislike it?
I know taking away -4 INT will hurt me with my debuffs landing , but as it is, my debuffs do not land much at end game. The only debuff that I really use alot is DEATHMARK. I get it to land fairly often especially since I got it enchanted to +8 chance.
My Soul vortex land rate is about 50/50. But, I hardly use it because the cast time on it is horrific. It is super slow. So, I am thinking to boost my WIT to +4. Thus increasing my cast speed on all my nukes. It will also boost the crit rate on the nukes and increase my defense against curses.
Anyway, has anyone tried the +4 WIT -4 INT setup? Please tell me how it went.
Well, my setup dye is what ppl mostly consider to be the worse choice, but I have done well but in pve and pvp with a +4 STR +4 DEX -8 CON, I had +4WIT -4INT before, but honestly, you tickle mob with nukes and debuffs rarely landed.
Since a lot of things changed in Gracia, I will try it myself again too and see what's like now that we get soul boost. Maybe we get decent casting speed and decent dmg due to soul charge... I will let you know :)
But answering your question, yes I tried and It didn't went well.
kronk .....why did you decrease your dex ...... we are some how assasin type :) ....but that's just me .... I for now use +4 str -4 con ......but i think i will change it when i get my rsk focus SA....to ...NO tatoo :D
Been wanting to post in this: The last time I had -Int, it sucked pretty bad. Landing anything was pretty lame (I had -2 int + 2 wit). I have less Int as a female SB I guess, but I think the difference would be very noticeable regardless of gender.
Put it this way: at 66 with around 600-700 matk I'm landing death mark on level 69+ raid bosses (Korim, Hallate's Guardian, Death Lord Hallate, all Fortress raids, except the last one. Don't think they are 70 though...) and more. I know npc resistance works differently but it's just reference point. My zerker clanny was also landing Violent Temper incidentally.
I also couldn't dream of having my Dex that low again. I had a +4 Str -4 Dex mod before and I completely hated it. That's with a base of 35 dex not 33. Shining Edge seemed to suck more, and the re-use on all my skills were friggin stupid (I think it was about 6 seconds or so).
I can chain skills back to back almost straight away as it is now since Shining, Checkmate, X3 thrust, are all on 3 second re-use times, I can even just chain only 2 of them and the re-use is enough. With BD buffs and zerk, at just under 800 atk speed, it's even lower.
Yes I use zerk :P. I get it, assess the situation, and remove if necessary.
