block wind walk

does block wind walk take out atk spd buffs too?!!!!!!!!
or the site is just way out of the truth!!!

The description in game says it does but people tell me it doesn't

It removes Wind Walk* like buffs if they aren't combined with another with improved buffs. And it prevent from rebuffing them for a moment.

Wastak is referring to Block Shield... but nonetheless is correct. If the improved buffs are given, block windwalk and block shield debuffs do not land.

It cancels the Wind Walk spell and, I assume, spells of similar effect (like Sprint). As washtak says, it will not strip Improve Movement, and it will also not remove Song of Wind. It also inflicts a small run speed debuff as it prevents Wind Walk-type spells from being reapplied. These effects last for 2 minutes or so (I never actually timed the spell, but that sounds right to me unless recently changed).

It's pretty pointless since improved combo buffs were introduced lol

It will remove windwalk, and only windwalk(or spells with the exact same effect, like paagrio's haste, sprint.)
any other buffs that affect speed will not be removed (song of wind, berzerker spirit, dash etc.)
Improve movement will not be removed

Block shield works the same way, will only remove shield, However, it can't remove greater shield.
