As some of you know, the Lineage 2 Vault hosts a weekly poll regarding topics of interest or relevance in the game and its community.
We try to cross-post the polls here, for exposure to users who may not regularly visit the L2Vault homepage. After last week's "Mouse Event" poll, it seems like that's working out pretty well, so expect the trend to continue.
This week, we changed gears a little bit.
With no new drama-generating announcements from NCSoft, I thought it might be nice to take a break from game-related poll topics and focus on the "IRL" people who play the game instead.
Every once in a while we'll throw one of these out there, just to get to know you guys n' gals a little better.
With Autumn now upon us, it got me thinking about how much I prefer this season over all the others. Sure, Spring is the harbinger of new life, replete with sunny hopefulness...but good god! Allergies! Phew! And Summer's equally nice (hello, short-shorts and bathing suits), but I could do without the 100-degree days. And then there's winter. A festive time full of Holiday cheer and wellwishing. And snow. And ice. And more snow. And cold, bitter, unrelenting winds. And did I mention the snow?
Autumn is really the only season I get along with, and this is a fact that seems to cause contention among a lot of groups. Aside from the brief-but-beautiful changes of foliage, most folks can't find a lot to love about the Fall.
L2 players have proven themselves to be a consistently different breed, however; there's never a typical moment around here, and your opinions are always full of interesting sidebars and rationale.
Hence, this month's question:
Quite simply, "What's your favorite season?"
Inquiring minds are dying to know, so feel free to post details about your choice in the L2Vault Poll forum topic (http://vnboards.ign.com/forums/b1/108803074).
I'm in the Midwest, so those of you in different areas of the US - or in different countries altogether - will likely have widely varied opinions on your seasons. Hopefully, that should lend itself to some diverse and interesting results.
With that having been said, what're you waiting for? Scoot on over to the poll (http://l2vault.ign.com/) (located in the right-hand sidebar of the Vault homepage) and cast your vote!
May the best season win!
