im wondering what class is better now after the update zerker or soul???? can any expirienced player tell me im doing the second class trans soon i need to know (better in pvp lkilling mobs partying every thing...) :o
Well SoulBreaker is a support class... correct, but still can own pretty much everything. In pve you get lots of skills that can keep you on when every other class owuld stop a bit (Soul cleanse and painkiller for instance). In pvp you can hit pretty much everything 1 vs 1, but one thing is true: in equal conditions 99% of the time you will be beaten by a zerker (believe me) they are just **** strong.
Anyway, for my experience I like the debuffing/support playstyle of a SB and the skill combination that can help you face any class. But if you are looking for mere brute destructive p. power... well, Zerker is your best option.

Well I know for a fact my BH when she was B grade beat the crap out of a High level A grade in full OE A gear. In fact I think he's still lying there after 3 weeks trying figure out how my BH beat him so Badly.
The fight against the BH would be a long one due to the amount of pots they can carry and their heavy armor.
But, I have never ever lost to a BH. I just kite ,debuff and nuke. A BH will not catch a SB with 213 Runs speed (WW,Zerk,Speed Talisman from merchant in Rune and Hard March on).
I just Steal Divinity, run wait for refresh, Steal Divinity run wait for refresh and Steal for a third time. Then Nuke, nuke nuke, nuke, nuke and nuke. You are dead.
Vortex, Soul Strike, Soul of Pain, Annihilation Circle, Curse Divinity and then Leopold+1 ftw. Iknow its not a very **** cool tactic. But it is very safe and works. If you do not kill the Dorf on the first wave of nukes on to his unbuffed Carcass then you can try a Deathmark see if it lands (prolly will on an unbuffed) then finish with Deathmark, triple thrust and shining edge. REmember beware of stun. Oh if you really want to put him in slow motion nail him with Soul Web (not necessary though).

Simply this, do not stand in front of the BH and let him chain stun you.
Who needs 2 run fast with a +10 BOP with QR. plus my PVP skills are bad and yet I still won. also your talking about a Lot of buffs and a Talisman. This was a simple 1 on 1 fight with what you had at the time.
I could easy Send my 71+ Great Wolf after you with his 233 Run speed and over 2k P attack you won't run long ;)
as for Ashley ...... i think if a SB gets to 78 ......you will die in the time that SB has Painkiller ON :) (and that is not too much)...sorry .....that's just what I think :)
and if you killed a SB in better gear with a BH ....the first impresion should be, ofcourse if the SB did something to seem like fighting, that the SB was either controled by a blind man or an idiot....not that SB class is weak....
How is your accuracy with that +10 BoP??? What is your range? Yes, your 71Wolf hits hard, but I have 2 slows and 4 nukes. What the wolfie PDEF (lol) even with top armor it is not very good. You have Wolfie Brez's I hope???
Listen , at a bare minimum, I have zerk and wind walk. My clan hall buffer provides those basic buffs to my whole clan. If you are not in a clan with a clan hall, I stongly suggest you join one. It is a treat to be able to get my basic buffs without having to constantly box a buffer.
I always have Magic Power Talismans and Speed talismans. In case you did not know, in Rune , next to the Trader and Dye NPC guy, is a guy who sells basic talismans cheap. You do not need eppaulettes to buy them. You just need adena. If I remember correctly they cost about 65K each.
Listen if it seems I am picking on you, I apologize. But, if I pvp a Bounty Hunter with a +++ Drac bow with focus, then im gonna Steal his buffs and melee him down until he swaps to a weapon he can stun with. When that happens, then I will kite. If he sends a wolf at me, I will run off with the wolf in tow. Then as the wolf gets close , chain some nukes then melee him down. Most summons hit pretty hard. Yes I am aware of this, but I also know the wolf pdef is not great and will die quick. I can pot spam he can not.
Nekrotic, you did not hear??? We are a support class because we can buff Dark Weapon to our party member for MoS exp and ToI expz (awesome exp btw). I am just joking

are there better talismans than those that give only 11 matk? buyable with adena....
talismans are not my strong point ....giving that i am not in a clan with castle or fortress!
accuracy is mute (Dwarf is a fighter not a Mage) with +5 Dex I'm going hit a lot more then miss. Range is very bad but good enough 2 send a few arrows in your butt (you do have to stop and cast when you kite) Great Wolfs have decent enough P defense at High Levels (your not going 1 or 2 shot the Wolf if that's what your thinking) and they have much more M defense thanks 2 the new jewelry in fact it has more then my dwarf. also the moment you stop 2 attack the wolf I'm on you if you don't stop and attack him your good as dead in a short time.
of course I'm not picking on you but it must be a lot of Idiot SB out there because I have yet to have one beat my Dwarf.

I'm sure you love your dwarf as much as you love your other toons (and pets) but we love our SB's too coz they are cool. It's just based on skill sets it's way more probable that dwarf gets pwnd ^^ (ofc everything can happen in a pvp) but I believe that in equal conditions and both skilled players SB has way more chances to beat a FS. See it now?
Yes it All looks good on paper but I just seen what happen when I fight a Kamael with my dwarf and my Dwarf always end up standing. You can say it could of been my gear but I had at the time Avadon Heavy and AOBA with haste. Might be a little different now that my Dwarf is A grade but it was mostly A grades I was killing and I was in B :)
But anyway, they either do that, or you transfer your dwarf to teon just to fight me (and hopefully lose), then wait for 6 months and go back to Aria ^^ how about it?
I do not mean to be a smart alec. I can definitely see a well played Dwarf beating a Soulbreaker.
During the last PTS before the last update, I made a Soulhound so I could mess with the new skills a bit. I got my S80 armor , weapons and jewels and went to the Olympiad.
I kept on losing to a Dwarf. It was quite simple too. He stun locked me everydarn time. Mind you he was tranformed into this big Golem thing, but I remained stunned never the less. Now, mind you, that was not a very good test that I did. None of the gear that anyone was using was unsealed. There was no stun resist jewels or stun resist armor involved.
So naturally, the achilles heal of the Soulbreaker is stun.
Now, in real world pvp, it is a different story having the stun resist gear and proper buffs.
I can 100% see you kill soulbreakers pretty easy if you are a skilled dwarf. Now, keep in mind, those Soulbreakers you are fighting might now be that good yet. But , I am not knocking you. If the dwarf is your main or if you have been playing him for sometime now, I am sure you are pretty good at playing him. We all have to remember , the Soulbreaker came out 2 updates ago I think. I am so bad with dates. But lets say less than a year ago to be safe.
My first class ever was a Tyrant. I got him to lvl 78 no sub class. I quit the game for 3 months and then came back. I gave the account to a friend. I decided , I wanted to try something new. The kamael update was upon us and the Soulbreaker sounded interesting and here I am .
I have had the chance to play a high level SPS (77), Overlord (79) OL (very briefly, they are my brothers).
Anyway, after having an idea of how 3 different classes play first hand, the Soulbreaker has to be one of the more difficult classes to play in game.
There are so many skills that we have that we must use. We have to use roughly 30+ Skills. We have toggles, self buffs, nukes, slows, cancel and melee skills. Since our skills do not recycle so fast, I run through all of them during PvP.
Anyway, there is so little information on this young class. Our main source of information is right here in these forums. I can only share with you what I know through experience on this class. I am currently working on getting back to 79 so I can get my final form finally.
I deleveled so badly one night in a drunken skill enchant tirade. I am not dissappointed at all, but getting back to 79 is tough since we can not aoe like we use to. I am referening to not being able to train mobs efficiently anymore with them loosing aggro.
Lastly, about the Talisman in rune. Those are all you have to choose from unless you get a fort or castle. There you get the good talisman that will cost you Knight eppaulettes.
Some examples: Invincibility eppaulette, Arcane haste and others.
this is my 3rd month playing lineage 2, i know that i'm not the right person to tell u that, but i think u should go berserker. Man i'm loving this class, at first i thought the class was weak, but when u get to lvl 60 you'll get a very powerfull skill "crushing pain", its one shot kill mobs with that! Disarm is really useful and the rush skills, despite the fact that they're not much useful(just one is useful that stuns the target), they're very cool. If u like close range fighting with strong cool skills thats the class!!
Sephirot, it's just a matter of choice. Indeed, zerker hits hard... REALLY HARD. but you cannot say it's better or worst. If you like close combat, yeah, I'd have chosen berserker... but I like the combination of ranged magic skills, debuffs and melee that SB provides. Is a really great experience coz you have to really work out your strategy against any opponent separetely. With most of other chars is just repeating the same. That's why we are so missunderstood. ^^
I din't say that one is better than the other! I was just trying to show him that, with my little experience, he wouldn't be disappointed with Zerker. I agree with you SB seems to be cool and needs good strategy. Can't wait to sub SB!!
zerker is a hit and run class to minimize damage apon itself and to be able to effectively use its chargeing skills along with its high run speed
soulbreaker uses some hit and run tatics to take advantage of its close combat and ranged attacks
arbelestors draw enemies into traps then tears them up from a short distance
inspectors are wierd
The thing about Sb that I love the most is, it NEVER get's dull. Never... Unlike playing Zerker or Dagger for example ( or lol nukers...). I have so many toys. To be honest, I think the The SB should be called 'Trickster' not the Arb.
My latest trick for example, in siege farm I have been using Surrender+Curse of Life Flow (sometimes root) and a Xbow. It's like VR only way more fun ;)
I got a common carnage bow in a drop... I will try that ^^ sounds fun. About your comment, it's really true, SB have a lot of skills to combine, and if you have a pet it's even better. In Pve I use the pet to atk first and pull agro, then I put behind the mob and use Shining Edge... normally 1 shot and mob is dead (or wolfi takes him out) ^^
I don't even use my wolf anymore these days. He now has top weapon and armour but he still kinda lags behind. He's just not worth the xp loss at this point. I do more than enough damage without him. He now sits on my tank who has a lot more use out of him. Yay for the wanna be DA!
i remember ct1.5 pts where everyone did olympaid and every kamael i fought in the oly, the first thing they did was say "!@^%" and run around they olypaid till i got bored and took out the +6 icarus bow and just let em have it.
yeah kamaels can be really good now :P wow romanec you already have 226 posts and that just in 1-2 weeks i remember you had like 56 and i 150 and now you already passed my number.

I stopped playing any other char, I only focus on kamael and SE and I ALWAYS lvl up with vitailty 4 ^^ if it goes down to 3 I go to town log off and then post on forum. I actually play only 2 or 3 hours a day tops, but as I said in other post... Vitality is a gift from gods ^^
