Didn't see much on the Dark Elf Fighter forum about Bladedancers, so I'll post away. In short, which set is better for a solo Bladedancer; Blue Wolf Heavy or Doom Heavy? It seems like Doom leans towards tanking a little bit, but neither of the set bonuses are spectacular, so I don't know if it matters.
And on the weapon, I know Samurai Longsword*Samurai Longsword is the best P.Atk-wise, but I see that Tsurugi*Samurai Longsword is also a popular choice. I'm assuming it's because of the added critical chance at +4.
What is a average-ish price for each of these on Bartz? Helmet, armor, gloves, boots, and swords? I've looked around, but I always get the feeling that 90% of the shops on this server aren't using thier best moral judgement when it comes to prices.
I do not use a buffer. And I know the -3 strength from Doom isn't good for a Bladedancer, but I love how that set looks. I guess I'll just have to deal.
I used BW and Tsu*Sls through bg and soloed the higher lvl lizardmen in Forest of Mirrors. With herb drops and self buffs you'll lvl fast off of the warriors and matriarchs in the high 50's, and this was before Vitality was introduced. For low 50's stick with the ghosts and lower lvl lizards. This was also before the expanded newbie buffs, so going to Oren for them might become something of a pain if you go this route.
