Brilliant idea how to remove,delete, cut of heads of adena selling, farming, boting etc
But first,
Everyone know that farmers, botters. Bot,Farm for some valuable things.
Like adena for sell for real money $$, and mats,items, parts, scrolls, recipes, farm raid bosses [for items too] etc
And re sell, gain adena, than sel adena for real money $$
Its they main target.
What if NCsoft would remove that ?
thay probable normaly die, and stop exist.
But how to made that ?
Easy. Make NCSOFT Lineage Coins,NCSOFT Lineage Shops.
Wher players could exchange Lineage Coins for:
Adena, items, armors,weapons,enchanted weapons, boss jewel, etc.
But howplayers could gain Lineage coins ?
Normal buy them in they master game acc.
exchanging ex. 1$ for 200 coins
1 coin = let say 1,000,000 aden
Players can buy items using Lineage coins. Like in normal shop. S grade, S80, Boss jewel. and many more.
Results
so why Ncsoft have to giving money of they players boters, farmers. When NCsoft can take that money for them.
Extra profit 100%.
No farmers,bots 100% success.
No selling adena for $$ success.
How ucould buy Lineage coins
Using Credit card or taking of form your play time when u use pre-paid.
-1h of play time form your acc = 10 coins.

But it would work very very well.
Players want buy adena. Buy from NCSOFT
It would stop, and stabilize prices on servers.
Because market price cant be higher than in shop.
1 - The bots/farmers will just lower their prices to below NC.
2 - Who has the largest credit limit on a credit card wins.
3 - Prices will sky rocket because there will be even more adena on the market.

20 bucks buys you a level 85
50 bucks buys you an epic set
100 buck special lvl 85 with epics and s80 weps/armor +10 and invincibility skill

L2 is about time investment, they should remove people that take shortcuts not move the shortcuts from whateveradenasite.com to plaync.com
Roso is just trying to offer a suggestion to help fix the annoying bot/farmer/adena seller problems. Although it probably wouldn't work, other online games (usually free to play) do offer game items for real money so it has been done, but there are still bots/adena/pl sellers rampant in the game that I played like this.
I do hope nc's efforts to ban the illigit accounts will be stepped up but I think these problems exist in all online games :/
even now NC makes a lot of money of botters ....as i said in other posts(from all the accounts that a botter needs)
and if what you say happens .....it will mean that anyone will have to pay real money to have items in a game?!..... it's a game for crying out loud....Items should be aquired by how good you play the game not ....how much money you have on your credit card!
I agree with you that botters are very anoying and I think idiots that use them are ...oh well I just said it :)
If NC wants to make it human friendly they can do that very easy .....by employing people that watch the game invisible and that can assist in testing the bots that players point.

and stupid answers like ...my 3 ears old brother coudn't count ....should be banned in the next second (i think lineage2 is 13+ so ..... at 13 years old you can spell and count too)
they will have some work a couple of weeks but aftr that I don't thing people would still pay an account to just have it banned after 1 or 2 days! (let's be honest ....you can notice from 2 towns distance when a group is a bot group)

just tell me how i with 2 accs (both manually played) can count on these 2 accs at the same time.
And playes who don't want to buy adena will leave the game.
From a certain point of view, however, it is much more honest to have it that way, so all people know what this game is about. At least those who stay will compete as evenly as their credit card allows.

didn't NA developer team talked about introducing the Game Shop for L2? the OP is just suggesting game shop for l2. but we don't really know what services and items available to purchase.
if they did that then only difference between retail and "donation" private servers would be the 15 bucks a month you need to pay for the privilege of paying x bucks to buy adena :)
Microtransactions will come, gracia 2 in korea at least is 0 content and bunch of microtransaction items. Diffence is they wont be cash for cash, more like cash for vanity items. They cant make this game pay to advance like some free mmorgs out there for the very simple reason you are required to pay to play
give it a rest already deal with it shut your traps and go on and play the game DEAL WITH IT OR LEAVE.

But as for the paid services, I can see from Spud's example of how it can raise prices. But if NCSoft started selling adena the could directly threaten litigation against every adena selling site cause they would be in direct competition with NCSoft financially. Although this would raise the issue as to who actually has ownership of the work done to collect the adena, the selling of adena would be tantamount to hand stitching Minnesota Viking jerseys in your home and then selling them on the street for profit. Do you really think a judge would rule in favor of the person that did that if the only argument they could muster was "I'm not selling the jerseys, I'm selling the time it took me to handcraft them"? In a capitalistic society, any infringement that impacts a company's ability to earn a profit will be upheld in favor of the intellectual property owner. So after they sued the biggest of the adena sellers the smaller companies would dry up quick.
As for the argument of whoever has the highest visa limit would win. Isn't that the situation we have right now?

I can see this happening, NCSoft runs GuildWars and they have a gameshop- you can buy character slots, etc. And since you have to earn skills by finding them and capturing them off bosses, or by purchasing them with SP like here, they give you the option to make a PVP only toon and you can buy the skills for that toon.. (if you dont want to, the only skills available are ones you already earned.) But the reason that works in GW is that top level is 20++ (Lvl 20 plus two additional quests giving you additional attribute points.)
