Hey guys/girls once again!
I just made my DragonHunter +150 fire and.... well... I'm sorry I didn't believe you, but now my dmg output is just GORGEOUS! When I crit, I crit for 3k dmg (!!!) instead of 800 with "A" blunt.
But there's still a question remains. Even with such HIGH dmg I still spend less adena on pve when using "A" shots. And the difference is very big. It's like 15mil+ per day. Well, this is not an issue of course, just for you to know. :) oh, and I kill mobs faster, yeah... :p
P.S. 1800 p.atack (no clan skills/no zerk) and 3k crits. To be honest with you, I only failed 10 stones to make the blunt +150 fire.
So, thanks to everyone who was telling me about "S" grade +attributes difference from "A" blunt. I need to waite for a week now to purchase "S" crystals :/
Ive been thinking about making a bbh with 150 fire, but im just not sure if the time and money required are worth it. Sure i can dd ok, but the cost of sss atm are rediculous. I could swing my meteor shower 4-5 times for every 1 swing of my current bbh in shot costs. Currently i been getting along just fine using golem and ms, have yet to find a solo- trio place where it didnt work out. If getting 150 element makes my dmg that much better(though im sure u have a high oed weap bc my bbh doesnt even come close to getting 1800 pattack with clan might 2 and full buffs-cov etc) is it worth it? The cost of sss atm make my golem the cheaper option, and its dmg is quite respectable. Sure i could do more with 150 attribute AND golem, but id be hard pressed to find an area where i could hunt with that setup and have enough mobs.

The 217 crit rate with an "S" sword is impressive :/ But hey, waite a min! Can I use hummer crush with a sword?
I also heard that 2 handed weapons did MORE crits than 1 handed blunt/sword and even with the SAME p.atack. no?
can't use hammer crush obviously but imo the crap is only useful for pvp
PVE is all about armor crush and crits and no 2 handers don't crit more than 1 handers
hows the land rate on armor crush with the sword? Ive been getting about an 80% landrate for that with spike, so im wondering if a sword really is a good option since we wont get that bonus to stun?
yeah it does definitely look like spike increases land rate and whatever the increase is for blunt mastery thats prolly worth it too but at the end of the day when we both have anything above focus 3 i will guarantee i out kill any dorf with a blunt
well ideally 2 hander will give more dps but if you don't want to sacrifice what little shield defense we get a one hander should still beat a 2 handed blunts dps with minimal buffs
hmm, how is the dps without SS and your S blunt compared to the A grade one? maybe you can hunt without SS and still kill as fast with the S blunt compared to the A grade?
also when you get attribute, enchante your fatal strike to atleast +1 for your attribute, more isnt really needed. doing that will increase damage with that skill by alot. if i could do it twice per mob on IoP i would 2 shot them.
i wish to strangle whoever came up with giving dwarfs only blunt masteries. we are given the worst weapon in game if you look at DPS. any S sword with focus wins in DPS over blunts, difference between 2 hander or 1 hander is almost none but 2 hander will make you have abit longer on skill reuse. if you kill fast and spoil that could be a drawback parhaps? im not a spoiler so i dunno really.

the reason i bother having the 2 hander is because i can only use armor crush once per mob if i want to keep my mp up so skill spam is out of the question anyway
since the only purpose of the sword is PVE you may as well go all out and get a 2 hander
20% crit with just focus and sharpen edge which isn't too shabby imo
combine it with a lucky armor crush duration and it's insta win.... or as close as we can get in PVE ><

For the blade I don't have them and I don't really got time to play lately as I m changing job (and house) in the incoming 2 weeks.

OK...so I made it...my crit rate is now 275 (+25from augment) I hit like CRAZY...like is if I were not a Dwarf fighter but a 'dream-fighter' :)
Hevens Devider w\Focus +150fire = very awesome crits, crit rate and 1400+ p.atack nice nice nice... At least is saves my Time and maybe even money (I'll check today).

have u tried collecting stones on your own? Heaven help us if we were expected to collect enough earth/wind stones for 150 of any other element(besides water).

yup
forget about having HB groups since the place pretty much needs a fully stacked party
we can only elementalize our skills for fire/water/earth/wind and if you are gonna be at iop you might as well throw on fire instead of water
why do dwarfs go for fire?......do you get any atribute on skills or what? .....why fire? is it because of the hunting grownds?!
I got my skills +6 fire dmg... And at IOP I pick up fire stones, so.... Why not? Besides, the HD is only for pvp....

a heavens divider is really nice for pve/pvp but 1 thing i dislike is that we can't use hammer crush and the pre 40 stun (which is nice if you OE it). and since i really don't like a basalt hammer i was thinking to (try) create a rare dragonhunter axe. if i can trust the official site the DHA would give more critical rate. does anyone have one or knows how much critrate this weap actually gives?

Masterwork Dragon Hunter Axe? (Lightning) Good luck with that! Masterwork success rates aren't that high, you're looking at some hefty crafting to even make that attempt.
The game doesn't say how much the Masterwork items give though. So until someone actually gets a masterwork item of that grade of the Lightning type, no one knows.
