Here is my version of the state of lineage 2, and I sincerely hope nobody fires me :p
There's this clan in Franz, people been whispering for a month they dupe adena. Nobody can prove anything so everybody shuts up about it and hopes the random bans ncsoft does bleed some of the duped adena out of the economy.
But, down the road we discover this particular clan uses more tricks. There are some nice tools out there called l2control and l2ranger , they fall in the radar category not simply bots. These alert you when an enemy is in range, auto target that enemy, and even cycle though targets based on class. But here's a new trick, they HIDE your char when an enemy comes in range (or in this case when specific mobs target you). Apologies, I had to use warders because if I go there with any other char he's already in hide mode before I can see him. Yes I said hide. Character becomes invisible and unable to get targeted but remains in game.
Watch the vid, it's entertaining.Pay close attention to Dewberry and his box LAHb .. watch them disappear watch him receive pms while invisible and ... and watch him magically reappear Also watch the SE use AOE, get targeted and disappear :)It's all zoomed for your viewing pleasure. And compare it to a TH in stealth. No tricks, make a lvl 1 in franz and I d be happy to take you to his exp zone and do a live demonstration.

PS for any geniuses out there yes this guy and about 15 others that use this have been reported over and over and over through ingame petitions and plaync.com but ncsoft in typical form refuses to act. This is a last ditch effort before we all /quit game.
botters always said in their defense that they hate the grind, they wanna get "up there" for the pvp.
now* they run from the pvp too, to do what? pay $15/month to watch their char play itself 100%?
*now more or less holds true for franz, cause this sh*t's been happening in teon for ages. guess franz doesn't wanna take it as lightly as teon did.
I don't know if this is in before the lock, or in before the delete or in before the miracle.
But let me tell you that two of those outcomes will involve me bringing as much media attention to NCSoft's game management skills as I can.
I'm just torn because I love this game, I love the pvp, I love the economy. But so help me god if a company is going to get away with this kind of crap in today's gaming environment. And it most certainly won't next time they try to release an MMO.

The funny thing about cheats/programs that sooner or later it falls in the hands of a bozo and then one of two things happen: everyone has it or they fix it. Wonder how many people are flooding to that cheat site to get the proggie Dewberry (Dingleberry fits better) is using. This game never ceases to amaze me.

Lmao--a long time ago, I saw a number of 'for sale' toons being powerleveled on my server.
You all know the names: BritneySpears, KeaunoReeves, AshlyJudd, etc.
Surprising how may of those folks are now "legit" as well as uber on my server now!
I recently saw one of them as a hero--laughed my butt off.
Lol, open your eyes! If you want to play in this game you need bot, radar with hide, many real money for ebay. And you need to dupe adena! If you don't have that you just a nonfactor! 90% of peoples use all or some of that. That why nobody want to play in this game. All just make real money. PVP? Lol for what? Better make some money on IOP! NCSoft do nothing - they just need many money.
I think at some day we will see big link on the main page of lineage2.com: "We make game better for you! 100kk of Adena just for 1 Euro, official bot subscription - 10 Euro for month. Unique offer - the hide function - 100 Euro life subscription. GOD function - 1000 Euro for month". And when you login you will see: "Please don't exp yourself, use our official bot! Please don't use therdparty bots - that bad bots! Our official bot is the better bots of the all bots in the world! Welcom in the Lineage II world!"
Don't you mean 90% of the people who gloat all day over hero chat use 'all or some of that'. I resent your implication that 90% of players are illegitimate. That's quite a statement to make considering you probably don't know 90% of Lineage II NA's player base. Are you, yourself, admitting to be one of these people?
I don't believe this thread will be deleted, locked maybe. I know NC censor some things, but it would be going to the extreme if they were to remove this.
For those who keep talking about how all of this is 'old new' on another forum have to wonder... which forum consists of the more legitimate players? One where people openly admit to breaking the EULA or one where people actually show the current state of the game as it is.

People are still cracking Vista so that they don't have to register it online. Microsoft have somewhat better resources then NCSoft/Nprotect do. I'd expect to see a crack-proof OS before a crack proof Lineage II/Gameguard.

If GM's can't distinguish bot from not bot then why they work in NCSoft? Oh, i forget, they very busy - they make game better everyday for subscribers :) Unfortunately most subscribers is bots, so game must be better for bots! :)
I wonder where this game is going to. The basics of the game are rocking, but if it can be hacked this easily it's only a matter of time before it'll die :(
Hope NCsoft will fix this ASAP for those who keep playing L2
