Hello everyone, I have a good friend that plays L2 and has a 7X+ glady. I would really like to pvp with him but I dont know what class to chose. I know L2 is rock/paper/sissors so what class can cover gladys weaknesses and in turn can glady cover said class's weaknesses.
I hear warcryer is what im looking for but I am not sure so I am asking you experianced folks.

Lineage 2 is a very, very time consuming game. I am just being very carful with picking my class so I am trying to get the maximum amount of imput heh.
But yes looks like my character that will take up hours/day/months of my life will be a PW heh.
If you're only looking for PvP coverage don't even think about a WC, you're gonna need the PP's various resist buffs of which the WC has none. In PvP VR doesn't really matter. Whats 50-70 HP gained compared to incuring damage in the k's? Not a whole lot :) Besides the moment a gladdie is OOM and has to swing his sword regulary he's dead meat (VR doesnt work with our skills) and a gladdie that's not using skills should be recharging his focus force/popping selfbuffs or he's doing something seriously wrong.
In 1v1 fights you can get some zerk+haste which is slightly better than what the WC can give you attackspeed wise. If its not a 1v1 you wont want zerk, especially not if there are nukers around. Also PoF is more p.atk than CoV does and gladdies are all about the p.atk Also coming patch CoV may get nerfed to hell :/ word on the street is that it will be considered an ultimate skill along with UD UE and will have a static 15-20min refresh timer :(
If you're looking more at PvE coverage then yeah VR is definately a must and thus makes the WC the ultimate choice. But strictly pvp speaking (which is what the title of the thread says) a PP>WC for a gladdie at all times... mainly due to their various resistances and possible extra attack speed depending on what type of fight it is. The WC contra PP heal ability is fairly equal i think.. or atleast not much difference.
**edit** resistances are VERY needed against nukers so a PP buffed gladdie has a much better overall performance than a WC buffed one, but i think that point has already been put through here ;)
