(this is not a political arguement thread, nor about L2 but I take it like a job to make sure it's done)

If you're American make sure you get out and vote today! It only happens every 4 years and people died for it so you can.
If you need to find your polling place please try using
http://maps.google.com/vote
Thanks :)
if i don't vote i get fined/prison time ><
Do it in Off-Topic, not General Discussion.
i vote for George Michael.
less than 50% of the Canadian population voted in our last election.

a record turnout.
Wow. That it explains it! Ur Canadian!!!! <3
SHould be in Off topic but Yea I voted

google maps lied to me. Random person on street gave me correct info.

less than 50% of the Canadian population voted in our last election.
a record turnout.

but i bet we have more dead people and illegal immigrants voting than you do! but serriously, why do people drop out of the campaign? the guy i want to vote for isnt running anymore, and im not too keen on voting for a socialist, no matter what his skin color or political totem :p

I third that!

I voted... no line at all where I live. In fact, only like 2 of the 10+ machines were even taken. I had my pick. =]

Since I thought I might have to stand in line I took 2 hours off of work in order to have time. Now I'm just kickin' back at home till my 2 hours are up and I have to go back in. :p
Nice

lol... Americans and their vision of socialism...
But I thought no politics were allowed here. You managed to turn this thread politcal in very few posts. GZ!
I went to vote 3 or 4 times today but the lines were too long--had to stop at one.

All kidding aside (and this thread should be dragged down to Off Topic), I was shocked this a.m.
My voting place usually has 10-15 people there when I go in the morning.
There had to be 200 there this morning--and they had 6 voting machines on one side of the building and 8 on the other side! I haven't seen anything like that turnout in the 10 years I've been living in this state.

Nice to see for a change.
I live in georgia, the state's electoral votes are already decided....

no need for me to waste my time voting for someone who is not gonna win the state.
I vote to have the man in the moon as president
I'm pretty sure that since Sex and Religion aren't allowed even in the off-topic forum that Politics shouldn't be allowed in the General Discussion form.
/vote for myself
Cthulhu for president! Why vote for the lesser evil? :D

Cthulhu for president! Why vote for the lesser evil? :D

LOL You know him too?
/respect!
meh ppl, quit your whining about where this belongs. If you dont like it dont read it(the mods will take care of it eventually). Too bad people have to be negative and say asinine stuff.
The point was to remind ppl to vote, and vote they did! thank you!
There's no moderation. But thank to you, lots of American voted. Congratulations, you're the man!

You voted 3rd party to huh? I don't believe the polls... 2% to 3rd party? over 25% of the people I work with voted 3rd party.
Only 62% overall turnout... and a record since 1960... that's sad... just goes to show how little people care which idiot lives in the white house... ****** #1 or ****** #2... makes little difference usually... except this time I'm afraid.
