Today I wanted to start mine bot killer career. Went to few catas ... they there empty :O ... checked WoS - full of mobs :O ... checked around goddard, found some but not much ... what happening??? Maybe bot report button is working? Or it is because new patch?
Well i saw 2-3 bots and also reported them sone days ago...never more saw them or other bots since the new update...may it be because the bot button? may it be because they are more afraid to get banned? Or is just their bot version still not compativel? well i hope it is because of the bot button!
Farmer Bots in Hot Springs & Beast Farm... also, lot of tagged players on autopilot in Beast Farm outside of Goddard... and VoS... OMG... bots everywhere... gold farms too :).
Bot Springs on Teon yesterday were noticeably less crowded. Less arrows on the ground, lots of free bandersnatches to kill, quest easier done. Maybe it's nothing, time will tell.
FP and EV are always loaded with Bots... I go there often and use the new button... anyone one else with a seething hatred for bots equal to my on should come along and report them also... see if we can put the new button to some good use.
Actually it would be nice if we could get enough people together in game to just report all the bots in EV... that would be helpful
I use the button 50-70 times per day...I report every bot I see, taged or non-taged doesn't matter. Even if the botter isn't afk and says "hi" to me I report them, because it's so easy to see a pattern in the way the bot program is controlling the chars...specialy 9 of them.

you can only use it 1 time on a bot every 24 hours but you can report as many as you can. just can't report the same one 2 times within 24 hours.
There is a large jar of ants located in the NCWest Austin office which, every time you press the button, releases one. Eventually there will be a colony of ants running off with Siren's 11 o'clock cupcakes.
This serves as an incentive for the GM teams to eliminate every bot on every server before Siren blows her top and "PK's" the GMs, starting with DrSabre.
you guys know that the button is not functional yet right?!.... in gracia final it will work.
it does work currently, it sends a "report bot" Petition without you having to figure out how many i's are in i!i!i!i!i!i!i!illllllll.
in gracia final it will have more functionality, in that it will work alot like hte recommend button only to negative effects of the recipient (the accused bots), such as after 50 (random arbitrary number) the botter will be flagged purple, or locked to town for a week, or have pattk and pdef dramatically reduced... etc.
The Button does currently work, patch notes say so and so does spam apparently (thanks Roh).
nekrotic you are constantly making random baseless statements, please start reading for yourself instead of regurgitating what you hear from other dorks in game or on "other" forums....
Bot button works... makes me feel like I'm slashing the little buggers tires or something... whether or not something happens on the other end, I dunno.
It might work but if your clannies run thru the area before you do, it doesn't work. I have gotten "this clan has been reported my your clanmates more reporting not allowed."
