I know there are loads and loads of posts about bots but whats it gonna hurt for one more rant to try and get the point across.
I am sick of getting to an xp spot xping for 1-2 rounds and having a bot group log in res some dead members and proceed to kill mobs as if i'm not there! I PM them to leave and get no response, I pk them it takes them 20 mins to see the buffers are dead, I train them twice and then they start to make threats about how i should kill them b/c they dont care about xp. WHEN IS THIS GOING TO END!!! As far as i can tell NCSoft bans more ppl that bot in clans then they do bots that farm. SRSLY start with the ones that farm they are the most annoying!
And yes i did use the new button and if anyone else goes to varka silenos i hope you use the button too!
It takes time for them to verify that reported bots are bots (I hope they do that very carefully so innocent people who may have been reported as bots by enemies don't get banned...) it has happened in the past, so hopefully they have some dependable methods to test bots.
I think they collect the data then go on sweeps every so often, otherwise it would take a lot of gm time. It's not going to be perfect, every game has bots. I'll be happy if it frees up some hunting spots :)
"enemys" cant be reported. I mean if you have a clanwar against a clan, you cant report them. In siege zones and town zones you cant report bots. And as far as i have read in other sites is that it is depend on how much reports every reported person gets. The more reports one person gets..the more attention it will get from the GMs and get punished and maybe banned.
LOL - with luck it will be some of the Heros, but then the emo kids will come on here and whine how it is not fair.
Agree, Heroes that have botted, or are botting should be banned asap.
These are the chars that should be checked first every month.
Botters don't deserve to be heroes.
Rather no heroes, than heroes that have cheated their way to be where they are now.

when do you want to quit L2? thats likely the after shock effective.
I dont know if this is true, because I cant read and understand russian very good, but I think I read on hero chat that spam was on teon yesterday too... Cant say that this is true tho..
