L2Vault Poll of The Week: Voter Motivation?

General Discussion Started Last reply 1 posts
Today is New Poll Day over at L2Vault, and this week we're curious about what, exactly, actually motivates our readers to vote (or to not vote) on polls.
The poll participation seems to fluctuate pretty wildly from week to week, so I thought it would be interesting to see if we could figure out a bit about what sparks people's interest, or what makes them pass on a particular topic.

With that in mind, this week the Lineage II Vault asks you, our intrepid readership, for your opinion on the ages-old question that has plagued internet marketing professionals and data-collection agencies alike since the dawn of the internet (well, since about 1988 or so, in any case): "What Motivates You to Vote On An Online Poll?".

Do you vote just because it's there, so you may as well? Do you only cast in on things that matter personally to you? Do you like your choices very clear-cut yes and no, or do you prefer some flexibility with answers that acknowledge the occasional grey area? For that matter, do you simply never vote on polls at all? I know, asking you to vote for the "I don't vote" option is a bit of a conundrum, but bear with me - it's all in the name of knowledge.

Answers to these questions, and more, are what we endeavor this week to discover. So do a great big favor for you ol' pal Gravytee, and take just a few moments out of your busy day to cast your opinion on our latest poll, located in the right-hand sidebar of our main page (http://l2vault.ign.com/).

Much obliged, friends. Much obliged.

(I'm aware that with a question like this, there are going to be far more choices than I've been able to summarize. So please, if you don't see an option you're looking for, let me know ([email protected]) and I'll be sure to add it ASAP for you.)
