L2 Vault's 'L2 in the View': Antharas' Lair

This week's 'L2 in the View' highlight is Antharas' Lair (http://l2vault.ign.com/View.php?view=Features.Detail&id=235)...aka: DVC!

"I have to refrain from calling this place 'Dragon valley Caves' ever since the name was changed a while back. It's hard not to want to call it that, with the word 'Dragon' being so vividly displayed in the bones all throughout the caves. When I hunt here, I enjoy looking around at the giant spines and rib bones lining the rock formations and cave walls, and the enormous dragon skulls and nearly-complete skeletal remains jetting out from the ceiling and scattered across the floor. It's an intimidating and awe-inspiring sight. The most beautiful point of it all however is the rays of sunlight peeking through small holes in the cave, giving you a tiny glimpse of the outdoor life you left behind and an even better glimpse of the tunnels, giant skeletons and monsters that surround you."

It's always DVC to me. I keep seeing AL flying about and I'm like.. wtf??

Agreed. Some of the changes they made over the years are strange. Not sure why they changed location names...but ah well. This was a fun pic to take, and I've been having a lot of fun hunting here lately. :)

I try to go there often, even if it's solo to the first room on the left (2 pytan groups) and pole away to my heart's content. The only bots I find on Sayha are just down the steep ramp, the room with the bridge before the Kariks.


It used to be called "The Lair of Antharas", I think the name DVC was just a common name used by most.
