This game still plays like it is 2004 but without the fun. It is time to step it up a bit. We NEED more events..period. Sticking stuff in our WH, although nice and welcome, is not a FUN event. Bringing back old events such as letters, coins, pumpkins, whatever, would go a long way in preventing the absolute boredom this game has become. I rarely get on anymore because there just isn't anything to do that I want to do. Now that that they have pretty much killed crafting, except for the precious few, I just don't see anything holding me here.
I also think banning accounts, none of mine have been banned, is stupid. You need to disable the programs, not reduce your paying customers. Sooner or later there just wont be that many left making this game even more boring. There are so many options out there these days that you have to have a "hook" and lineage2 is seriously losing that hook.
Solutions: More events and when I say more...it means more than 1 every 9 months. Really now. In fact, once a month would be wise. Bringing back old events is in fact..ok...because those events far outweigh having no events. I dont care if you are bringing more "content" to the game because if it comes at the expense of playability and fun, whats the point? Events. Now.

This game needs to evolve while at the same time maintaining some old staples that for some reason, it has lost. Those staples are events.
Sooner or later I'm just going to be busy playing something else. I guess time will tell.

i do agree that events need to be held more often. event i remember and enjoyed the most was when they had raids spawn at town gates. watchin and joinin in with the masses as you port town to town to find and kill them. was loads of fun. BRING IT BACK!!!!!!
I have been having a bunch of fun lately in L2 so I don't know what your talking about. :) Depends on the personal perspective I guess.
it also depends on the class you play.
True, I have been playing TH lately, a very fun class. Training bots and PKing bots and rolling around cata's is what I have been getting my kicks from lately. Very fun. ^^ I only look forward to more real PvP in later levels. (Level 59 at the moment)

Wow, I had to stop listening after I read this, as anyone who thinks it is bad to ban botters is not intelligent enough to listen to.

might not be the same anymore on phoenix or the such that have the highest pops, but it would still be fun on some of the other servers. and with the way raid drops are now being mainly mats. doubt theyd bother with the lower lvl ones :p
