I've been stuck on the same mish for a while now and it's one of the ones I need for the "First Class Transfer". What seems to be the last mish has me goin to "capture of Ol' Mahum Officer Tak" (get the soul or something, goin by memory). Thing is I've lost almost two lvl's try'n this mish. Seems they have me goin to the Abandend Area/Buildings to find/kill this guy but everyone around that entire area is RED. They also walk in groups, so it seems impossible to me that this can be done. Should I just do other quests until I lvl to 20-21? I've gone from being almost 20 to just over 18 from this mish. Please help. Thanks.
I don't know exactly how that quest goes, but you need to take detours around dangers and use your fast run speed to an advantage.
I know what you mean, on my wiz 1st class change, i had to run through around some red mobs near the wasteland, however i had little run speed with robes on instead of fast runspeed with light armor, so if i could do it with those disadvantages, you can surely do it ;)
Hi! I have finished this quest today, so I can help you ^_^
In order to make Ol Mahum Officer Tak appear, you have to go to the area on the east of Ruins of Agony (using a Gatekeeper for instance). You have to defeat a determinate number of Lizardmen (Normal Lizardmen, Guards or Scouts) but do not attack any other level higher.
The easiest Lizardmen are on the southern end of the area. The more to the north you go, the harder the enemies will be.
Only the ones on yellow or white color should be attacked, because they are pretty strong (I got killed once). And when you have killed 5 or 6 Lizardmen Tak will appear, and you have to defeat him (his soul will be trapped automatically in the crystal, so you don't have to do anything else but to fight and win ^_^)
Tak is not specially strong (at least not like the Lizardmen) and he is not agressive, so you can heal you if you are wounded from the previous fights. I was level 20 when I made this quest. And this is how it worked for me. I hope that this will be of help to you!

You know, I finally found an easy and no mob route to that dang wind spirit! Take the road just west of Shanty Fortress heading south. The road will turn east towards Wastelands and then turn south again. If you continue heading east at that turning point you'll be on the path to the Wind Spirit and you won't run into any mobs along the way...Boy that took me years to find that safe route, I feel sad now :(
