The new look of this board. It bites. Open-wide-eyes-roll-to-back-of-head-and-detach-jaw bites! Most monitors yield 16 million colors, and they decide to go with a white background. Not easy on the eyes at 3 in the afternoon, let alone 3 in the morning. Migraine inducing. Good job, guys.
I also liked the old forums better. It's mostly a matter of looks, and the color(s) of the old forums were more pleasing. So, maybe if they just worked on color, and maybe layout to a lesser extent, it would turn out OK.
The old forums were dark background with light lettering. Anyone who does web design knows that is a no no. TSK TSK NCsoft. I can actually read the forums now without it blurring my vision after 20 minutes of reading.
ok not hate it! But its not that good! The old on was more alike to the game than this one!
when u talk about an epic game that has dark magic, bows, dragons, castles, catacomb and other things like that i dont think that color white is the most suitable! Sound more dark to me! Red, black, dark blue, some green or grey are more closer to lineage2 than white!
My opinion!!
I think ppl should finish h4xiors school before they know how to reduce screen brightness level.
Eh my brightness is just fine, i dont want to have to adjust my screen brightness just so my eyes wont bleed when i visit one single forum :P that and the blueish theme before was much more fitting :/
Funny, it's exactly the other way round for me. This REALLY is too bright on my TFT, and I do not want to change the settings (which work perfectly fine for anything else) just for one website.
Also, this white background makes the forum look too "generic". It looks like "let's make a new forum - ah, why bother changing anything, let's use the default colours".
I have no problem with the old or new forums I do however have a problem with a couple of postings that now are hard to read due to light color font but hey I can manage.
You know what they say you cant make everyone happy all the time... learn to be content with what you have and what you can get, cuse unless you can do a lot better and NCsoft offers you a job this is what you get ^^ and its not bad at all to have forums to openly express yourself .

The background of the messages is actually light blue, not white. But no, don't change your settings...
Looks like every other generic forum on the interwebs.
Tons of customizations seem to be missing.
Conclusion, the old forums may have been outdated but at least the were customized to the Lineage 2 feel. From the new forums, I can't even tell that I'm on the Lineage 2 forums unless I really look around for it. Bottom line is that a lot of work needs to be done here to make this a polished forum.
No, I never really got into greasemonkey much; I prefer Stylish. You basically create your own CSS based on the tags used on a page and firefox uses your CSS before the web-page's.
