What's your biggest achievement of 2008 in Lineage II?
Have you hit 70/75/80? Hit 75 on all subs? Found the bargain of the year in the market which has given you a good adena boost?
My biggest achievement is probably getting to the 2nd last bridge in Antharas' Lair for the first time on my new accounts. It's been many years since I was last there and I felt much nostalgia when we finally arrived on the bridge. What made it even more of a nice trip was that we always used to joke about who would be the first person to fall/jump/lag off the bridge and be lost in the voids -- Lovepump, bless her, made us laugh so hard. Apparently it was my fault because i 'cut a corner' and she jumped to her doom.
I'm hoping to hit 70 this year, so with any luck I can update my biggest avhievement before the year is out!
Done:
- Getting A grade armor
- Get 75
- Get subbed
- Be able to afford sub armor/weapons
- Get my WS to A grade (weapons/armor crafter)
- Get SE and PP to 58
- Create another WS to craft mats
- Have an alt for 40 raids(AQ for example - I have 1 Bish and 1 SH)
- Revive old toon name(which I did with a name change).
To do:
- Lvl my Weapons/armor WS to 62(Create 8)
- Get my buffers to 70(or 72... don't remember)
- Get boss jewels
- Buy S grade weapons and armors
- Get noble
Deals of the year:
- +10 Homu with Acumen for 10 Mil(some1 made a mistake)
- +4 /+3 / +3 /+3 DC Robe set & +3 SoM Acumen for 405 Mil (Almost 90mil below market price)
Innocent scam of the year:
- I set a shop with an EAS(among others).. but by mistake.. I wrote in shop title EWS and also gave it the price of 85 Mil... and I sold it...
I was joking :P Anyway.. scammers can carry on, there are enough of them to avoid in real life, and if people fall for them (RL or in RPG) then they deserve their loss :D
My biggest achievement is making 7x on my Temple Knight main. This is my fourth run at Lineage 2 and the first time I was able to make it past 52 >_>. I could not have done it without my guildies. Secondarily was tanking Cabrio for the first time recently. I hadn't tanked a raid boss since I was 49 and this was kind of like a right of passage for me.
My biggest acheivement thus far has probably been, being able to have my next grade armour & weapon available & ready to go, before hitting that grade WOOT..
I'm at least a few levels away from AG, but my clan has already helped me out with my AG armour set! :)
In your sig, your Necro is your 60+ char & finally a class you actually like?
If so, is your Necro your first nuker class? Just curious..
Well, in theory, it's the first post-40 nuker I have tried. I have a Sorceress at 4x and tried my hand on pre-40 DE nuker (that was going Spellhowler but became a Phantom Summoner because I simply can't stand the pure nuking all the time).
I don't really like the pure nuker at all. The Necromancer's fun to me because they're not pure nukers only. They can be summoners if they want. They can be pure nukers if they want. They can be great crowd-controllers with the curses. It's the array of things I can do as a Necromancer that makes me truly enjoy the class, to be honest. They are, in a way, everything I liked from other classes combined into one.
I'm in the same cathegory as Valerie.. epic reroller.
This year I got my first toon to A-grade. Since then I've made another A-grade toon and will have a third and 4th before the end of the year :)
This year, I achieved all the goals I ever had for L2 and then some... Hitting 75 was the only goal I had ever really cared about. I think I actually got that last fall but this year I class changed to Eva's Saint, hit 78 and got POW, subbed, got sub to 75, got noble and got S-grade. =]
I currently have no goals, lol... I'm half-heartedly working on getting glad to 76/duelist. And I want to get my dwarf artisan as high as I can so she can craft SSC or SSB (SSA would be awesome). And I play my main for fun, but have no goal for her.
Biggest achievement... well, I finally got to 73 on my main after 2 years of playing, A grade equip for her (still SoM SA missing ^^) and fully geared some other alts :) Hope to be 75/76 before next year! :D

I think I sold you that DC Set and SoM.
Only sold it cause a friend quit and gave it to me, and I wanted an Arcana Mace :P But maybe not, cause I think I sold an entire A Grade nuker ste (i.e. including +3 Unsealed Maj Jewel set) for about that price.
The biggest thing for me this year was the 5-6 months that my accounts were deactivated. Somewhere in there I discovered just how unf-un the game had become, and it dropped to the bottom of my priority list. Next year will be me quitting for good (new computer soon :P ).

My latest achievement would be getting my Imperial Crusader armor. It took almost a year, but I finally got it. Even after 3 failures which set me back about a month. I still need the shield though, so back to hunting quest items I suppose.

Finally getting mana gain on my main. Reaching 3rd sub. Getting my 150fire/wild magic arcana mace (well that was already in february, but still it was this year). Getting our old clan hall in Aden back again after the server merge. Getting clannies to come back to our clan after they left for more pvp, but then they realized that fun&friendship in our clan > ******-clowns in the large alliances.

I discovered yesterday that I'll be staying in L2 another year... PVP in AION is like WoW.... QQ.
The goals I achieved for 08, took my SE from lvl 71 to 75 in a month with my now 74 SH, managed to get Baium after 3 wks of trying for my SE and getting my sub to A grade in 2 wks with no vit and having all my gear and weapon ready for it.
I hope that before the yr is over I get my SE to 76 and noble and my SH (secondary acct) to 76 and sub to A grade and yes I am going WC for that sub.
I have been playing for 2 1/2 yrs, have seen many ppl come and go. I was at one point neutral and now Im not, I have enjoyed both sides of the game and Im still having a lot of fun. I will miss L2 when I close my accts once I achieve the rest of my goals and move on to play AION, but I will never forget the good friends I have made along the way and the fun.
Not 100% there yet though... :P
It's been close to a year since I've played. It's been months since even logging in. I don't even remember what toons are on my accounts or levels. I reactivated my account a couple of days ago simply to look at the new (blech) forums.
I try quit in 2008 but I could not and it's all Purp, Megatron, ValerieRose, Spudnik, Omega, Siren, Spam, Insanity, KnightOfDarkness, jkoster, Silex, Sharlanna, Dracone, OrochiGirl, DrTulp, Jesslynn, Mc_kzimir, Xentheous, Wolfrayne & a few Others Fault!
i set 3 goals for andreas. three separate goals. 1: get 79. 2: get gate chant (hard cause ammy drops on PI) 3: get magnus chant.

Thx for the support Spudnik :) . I already got gate chant thanks to my clan. As for 79 goal: it is relly near. Magnus is far (probably going for chant of protection first).
Probably getting my first toon to 70+ after 4 1/2 years of playing. But! Not just one toon, two!! Got a BH which is lvl 72 now, and a PW which is nearing 71. I've rerolled so many times now that hitting 70 was a pretty big accomplishment for me.
My goal this time is to keep playing L2 more than a year this time, without getting bored and waisting money on another game (WOW, LOTR, WAR, so on) that can't keep my attention for longer than a month.
I started here 3 months ago and I can only play after 7pm (=> vit2 or 3 all the time). My goal was to reach A grade for xmas, with full B grade gear. I also wanted to meet a nice english speaking community with ventrillo server and legit ppl.
Thx to the vitality system and my new friends, now I'm already a lvl70 bishop with my MAJ robe crafted (I had luck, 4 crafts, 4 success) and some MAJ jewels. Still have the SoV acu tho hehe.
I founded the clan I was looking for and have all the fun required to keep my motivation up to lvl and work for my gear :D
I'm totally satisfied about my L2 experience so far, I was afraid before (everyone high lvl, bots and so on) but decided to give it a try. It's better than expected so I'm happy ^^
If you know what you are looking for you can get it. If you don't, you will be always complaining and get bored. This trade is a very good idea!

Failing at FRAPSING some PVPS.
