only now, after i'm finally able to subclass after 4 years...do i realize how largely unfair certain things were in l2's history.
most notably, the choose your destiny event.
not so much the ability to change your main class...the part where you can put any subclass skill no matter what your subclass is. i'd love to have a sub i actually enjoy playing and still get a nuker/buffer skill.
Noone was able to move an actual skill from their sub to main. Its a totally different thing. The only thing that event did was make it so a few tanks have the "Tank ability" subclass skill.
It's not like my arcana lord can use the major heals of her eva saint sub.

i want the chance skill for tank subclass on my TK main. wouldn't mind mind having the lesser celestial shield skill either but i don't want to sub wc, prophet, or sws for obvious reasons.
If u werent noble tank when that event was thats too bad, but the game has been around for quite some time, and IMO the veterans should have some reward for having been around.
/agree with Smittie. Why not sub a WC? Since TKs (though they are desired in the Oly because there aren't too many of you) don't get partied that much, a WC is always in demand, especially at the higher levels.
And, from a healer's pov, the CS sub skill sucks anyway. It usually goes off when the HP is pretty low and you can't be healed if Balance Life isn't ready. When it goes off, usually it's too late to get the heal there in time. At least in the next update, once it goes off, if you hit again it stops.
i was actually thinking necro but i found out that the skill i wanted, passive increase m.def, is only +20 m.def total.

prophet is somewhat tempting since i have my own snow fenrir.

was also considering warlord or gladiator with light armor and 1hand blunt. because a TK main with either of those subs just screams, "what the hell were you thinking??"
would have loved to sub PW and trade the 75 skill for the tank skill...hence why i say it's unfair.

You can solo quite well with a wc and you can use ur tank's armor and weapon or duo with the snow fenrir, on the other hand PP is less efficient in soloing especially at higher lvls and the only more efficient option is duo'ing with the snow fenrir or party... but you already know the point :p the reason why all buffers suck to play...everyone already has a box buffer.
yeah, well with a prophet, they have mana vampire passive skill so +con, dc heavy, shield buff, and fully buffed fenrir...doesn't matter how hard i hit, i'd steal mp to heal the wolf.
chant of victory doesn't really do much for a fenrir in ketra.
if you're a tank on main get a dd sub to 75 and take warrior haste ability as that increases your attack speed with 30% when it triggers, another good ability is the crit master ability as that adds 30 to your crit rate (requires a level 75 dagger or archer sub).
I chose the crit damage reduction passive for my tank when the event was on. I don't really notice a difference, but that might be because I have a lot of crit damage reduction to begin with. What would you have chosen if you were noble during the event, HP?
the crit damage reduction only reduces with 1~2% so not much really..
the decent to good ones are the +4 evasion, CP boost adds 780CP, Cel Shield, UD which adds 20% mdef/pdef for 10 sec, warrior haste adds 30% attack speed, crit master adds 30 to rate, mdef master adds 50mdef and chance focus which adds 30% crit rate for 10 sec when triggered
wish there was also a +4 to accuracy to counter the evasion one lol
people told me to go chance haste, long shot, and chance crit and just turn myself into an archer for when i UD...but the problem is, i'm -8 str tats. i'm a pure hp/p.def/m.def tank.
the cp would be nice, i guess but if i ever *do* get into the hardcore pvp scene, i'll be spamming cp pots with my nostromo.
i guess i wouldn't be so upset if, in the event, you couldn't take a tank ability as a tank main...but you could.
edit -- not to mention how hard it is to level a tank to 75 to get the ability in the first place.
I have a dumb question, it's not really in line with the topic of unfairness.. but it is about subclass skills..
I have been looking for some time and I am pretty sure I am just overlooking it somehow, where can I find a list of those skills and how they related to the chosen subclass?? Preferably online as I don't have access to the game from work.
