b4 gracia rez bishop was base % + max wit by dye (+5 is max) + BlueWolf set (max total bonus caped +20% from base rez) = max % rez possible, exemple bishop lvl 72 rez for 90% with all this, if confirmed.
i find this on many forums, never read anything about it on official forum !
i want know if all this is still work in gracia, because i dont see anything about bishop add's, also my dad used my bishop and told me rez is different when bishop is buffed or not and depends of lvl of the dead toon.
if someone have informations about that ;)
i just take back bishop to play, and want know if keep blue wolf or go on dc/maj....
the max % of a rez has not changed (though the 90% is level 74, its 85% @ 72) I think what your thinking of is the base % loss of higher level toons is different. depending how people died (PvE vs PvP) is 1 factor. when you get to 76+ the base xp loss changes, so thats a different factor. (I think, not sure, but think its 1% @ 79+, 1.5% @ 78, 2% @ 77, and 2.5% @76, mind you that is the FULL xp loss amount (no clan luck, no war death))
regardless of any clan luck or death type, the rez % restores a flat amount of the xp actually lost. buffs (other than salvtion) have absolutely no effect on any xp restoration upon a rez (other than recast time of course).
as to gear, at level 74, BW and +5 wit is overkill, +4 and DC/tallum will still net you a 90% rez, +5 wit in maj will net 89.6% rez or so, so not much difference. me personally, I use both maj and DC, I just make sure to rez in DC always. (+4 wit only)
Yes, the only thing character level influences is how many % of xp you lose in the first place when you die. But max Bishop res (apart from Salvation) is still 90% (70% from res skill and a maximum of +20% from wit bonus).
So when a 79+ toon dies, he loses 1% max (without clan luck) and so a 90% Bishop res will result in 0.1% xp lost after res. And when a e.g. lvl 60 toon dies, he loses 4% max and that is 0.4% lost after a 90% res. I think this difference is what your father means by "level affects res".
But buffs never affect how many % a res gives back.
