enchants

Anyone else having bad luck with enchants? I swear I'm getting 60%
failures instead of 1/3 failures. Shouldn't it be a 60% chance of
success? Does NC need to check their math?
Random enchants are r____m?

Sorry, spent too much time on the wow forums I think.
works in waves for me. one time you get all fails and then bam you're lucky for some time. made a +10 keshanberk the other day, broke about 15 at +3 to +5 before that. white and black stripes :) the point is that you shouldn't just do few attempts and give up OE forever, you should OE at every possibility until you get what you want. or just buy it...
I often buy a D grade weapon or armour piece and spam all of my free(?) enchants on it. I think I'll keep going until I get something +6 (armour) or +16 (weapon). I'd sell the armour but keep the weapon just for the **** glow.

I don't know, I have been doing really well regarding enchants as of late. Probably God just hates you and wants to see you broken in both spirit and wallet ingame.
well, i noticed that if you have a lot of enchants (or life stones) in your inventory when enchanting or augmenting the probablitlity of getting a good outcome is much less than if you have one in you inventory. i hypothesize if you have a second toon to trade you an enchant each time you will have closer to a 66.667% success rate. (i am not a programer but with it cant be hard to build in a success modifier and with teh way ncsoft works, if you have a lot of enchants, you have a lot of money, therefore we need to bleed you)

The success rate has been tested over tens of thousands of enchants, there's no evidence at all that this is a factor. Your individual sample of a couple dozen enchant attempts is rather meaningless statistically.
that may be true, but did they isolate the independent vairable of how many enchants were in the inventory? if not neither of us can make any conclusions if this is a factor or not. we can only guestimate if there is an effect. (in a 315 stats class)
