Seeding/Spoiling on BH

My original question was answered. =) But I still have more!

I am planning on subbing a BH, and was wondering if anyone wanted to give a 'dorf-in-training' any pointers :)

To start, this is my 2nd sub, so I'm not in any rush to level it quickly (already noble and wanna get dagger to 77 before I get too serious about it).

I plan to play it for fun/soloing and use it to seed/spoil with. (there is something about seeding/spoiling that just makes grinding so much more fun)

I also am probably going to try and level up a strider and/or wolf with it, and maybe try and level up my buffers in party with it as well. I know dwarf is a slower leveling class as it is, and I don't mind this. I'm not subbing BH to get parties or to get to 76 fast lol. I plan to take this toon slowly and try and make some money with it :P

Any over-all tips for me? Such as weapons to use, tats to use? Good places to spoil? Is a 1-handed blunt and shield better than 2-handed blunt? I know I should go +STR, but should I go +Dex as well? Is the dex worth it?

I have not seeded for a long time but I'm pretty sure you can do both.:cool:

You can do both. First harvester, then sweeper. But in areas with no herbs (especially catas) you might need recharger.

Are you sure about this? I was pretty sure both the skill harvest and sweep make the mob disapear after you use it, so you can only use one? And...seeding does not use mana, so why would it require any more mp than just seeding?

Hm, so you CAN do both...

I suppose I should have actually 'TRIED' seeding/spoiling before I assumed you could not, but multiple people told me it was not possible. (then again they were not dwarves :P)

I am 'almost' possitive that seeding does not use mp. I did it on my dagger from level 60-75 anytime I solo'd (which was a lot) and I never once noticed it took MP. Then again, I wasn't really paying attention to my mp...

How much MP does it use to seed? I know spoiling every mob will start to drain the mp, but I never noticed that with seeding.

None the less, I have an se, so MP is not much of a worry for me. I plan to try and level up the se with the dwarf.

seeding costs like 10mp, harvesting is a little less. You didn't notice it, because it is such a small amount of MP... Spoiling and sweeping both take MP as well, and doing both at once, even not using any other abilities that cost MP, will drain your MP faster than it regens in most cases. You will notice the MP manoring takes when manoring and spoiling at the same time, even though it is not a large amount.

harvesting does not make the mob disapear, sweeping does, that is why you must harvest before sweeping when doing both at once.

I would say not to do it.

Fully buffed, you cannot solo kill more than one white mob in a cata without having to rest. Bounty Hunters do almost no damage at all.

Only way I could level was using a pole in cata's, constantly using heal pots, a buffalo, and a se/ee
