One of the new features that switching to vBulletin offered was the ability to tag posts. But in the last few weeks, it appears as though this function is being misused. So I'm asking everyone now.
Please do not use tags in an inappropriate manner. If this tag griefing and abuse continues, we will disable the feature. And I don't want that to happen.
So please do your part to help preserve this endangered option ;).
Sorry but im still alittle lost on this concept since all I seem to see are screen shots of people that have posted commonly used words or phrases in search engines. If this tag thing is endagered and people are abusing it for whatever reason, it would seem to me that its going to get abused no matter what you do. I vote you remove it simply because you cant stop idiots because there typically selfish and will not stop even if you ask nicely.
Maybe this feature would be better used by proven responsible board members that is a reward for there good participation and NON-abuse of the privilidge to post and be decent human biengs. Well thats just my opinion, maybe no one else is with me on it. But hey, someone had to say it.
remove the tags but for god sake...keep the forum alive...there are enough lifeless and soulless people who live here and don't have other meaning in life than post all day long :|
What's the relation between keeping the forum alive, tags and users that post a lot (those that actually keep the forum alive btw)? Sorry to say this, but can you reformulate ? I don't understand a thing. Then again, I'm tired.
At work currently, debugging code gets tiresome, and I have to debug in order to implement changes... I guess I'm taking too many "breaks" but that's me, and if I meet my deadline it's all good.
Aaaanyway, the holidays approach, can't wait for those two weeks OFF!
Tags can stay, if people abuse them, remove them. (they'll probably get removed :)).
