Since we have gotten these new boards, it seems to me as though there is a lack of Moderation on these boards. Topics that never would have made it in the old days, stay open for days. Cursing and personal attacks are commonplace and the subject of the day is 90% whining and ******** from supposed fanboy's. Posts with actual substance and good information are few and far between.
It seems to me that we need out CM to step in and actually participate or at the very least, tell your mods to do their job? Threads that are stickied lie useless with broken links, long since dead. Give us a little love. It seems like you updated the boards and then bounced.
Unless this new "streets of new york" feel we have here now is intentional. If that's the case then by all means, leave it be. I am quite capable of flaming each and every person that posts as my troll abilities are > 9000. If not then do what is necessary to get us back on track.
siren is a bit more loose with the golden padlocks than alyra or mistyrl were and it kinda works well for forums like phoenix but i agree the general discussion could use a bit more of a heavy hand
Well, new rules for the boards need to be written as the last set were lost in the transition from the ubb boards (they were under FAQ). If these rules allow for a relax in some of the content of posts then that's good news all around and I'll quit moaning so much! :D
