play good evening from Greece and I have terrible Ping in aria server. EURO server to have a happy Ping. we know what needs to be corrected old played in Lionna and is not such a problem. any help please
I'm playing from Greece atm to, but I have a feeling it's the ISP since atm I only have 5 Kbps out of 2 Mbps I should have had downstream so I get DCed within 10seconds in L2.

I'm not from Greece, I'm just here for few weeks.
It's extremely laggy between 2pm and 7pm gmt+2 (for me atleast) where the game becomes unplayable unless I'm in a spot where I can survive having 2-3 mobs hitting on me for 30 seconds without having HP problems.
Today it was so bad that when I loged in the players poped up around me, but my quickbar and chat was blank and after 10-30seconds I got the clasical "you have been disconected" messsage.
atm it seems to work fine without laggs, but it usualy clears up around this time 11pm gmt+2
I don't know if the OP has the same as me, but I have a strong feeling that it's the ISP that has problems and not the server.

it isn't that hard to figure it out. To begin with 'Hi, how you doing?' 'the ping on Aria is pathetic for me' 'the euro server has a decent ping' 'i would like it if NC provided better data transfer on Aria' 'i played on lionna, it is an awesome server, the best in whole game, since we transfered to Aria everyone must come and join us ^^' 'please help'
Umm you do realize that when the game started, there were no Euro servers, so some Euros just didn't want to transfer and/or lose their friends they made on the NA servers, right? Or that they might have reasons not to be playing in Euro servers, yes?
Calling them "dumb euros" only make yourself look dumb.
But...
My ping is constantly 210 on Aria. I have no issues even though some people go "OMG THAT'S SUCH A HIGH PING". That's normal ping to me lol... not sure if the OP is experiencing higher pings than that.

I'm a "dumb" Euro player that plays on a NA server. When I started we only had Teon, but I started on Lionna (Aria) since when I started Teon was located in NA so the ping was the same as on Lionna and I had friends that was playing on Lionna. They opened a new Euro server in Europe and moved Teon to Europe over a year after I had started to play.
When that happened I got way to many friends, equipment, chars to just start over on a Euro server...not to mention that Franz was infested with bots when it opened.
It took even longer for server transfers to be added and I'm still staying on Aria because of my friends that I got there.
So next time you call someone dumb think before you post.

I have around 140 ping to Aria now that I'm back in Norway and I can't say that I feel any delay (it's only 0.1 second delay)

I don't think that bashing euro people is neccessary at all. Or bashing anyone because of the language they speak or the country they live in, for that matter. Seriously, people.

Where in my posts am I complaining about lag? The OP was. I'm not the OP. I don't have lag at all. Learn to read before you post, dear. Makes less of a fool out of yourself. But something tells me it's quite impossible for you.

I'm playing with 300+ ping and it's not that bad. It's only bad when my ISP starts to screw up the connection. So if u have bad lags (maybe that's why you're posting this post? p: ), I don't think the ping have a huge influence with it.

when the OP made this tpoic I had over 3k ping to the NA servers and over 2k ping to the Euro servers while I was in Greece and as long as I stood still doing nothing I could see everyone move and chat, but as soon as I made a move...DC
so for me it was an ISP problem and I guess it was the same for the OP

Just as an interesting note--earlier this week I logged into L2 and all the servers listed as they always do for me, but the Ping for Aria (JUST for Aria) was 9037.
I goofed around on Devianne for awhile, relogged into the game, rebooted my computer and logged back in---still showed Aria Ping for me as 9037. All other servers were where they always are.
Eventually I logged in and was able to move and hunt with no lag and everything was fine on Aria. Ping still showed at 9037.
I'm not much of a computer guy so I don't know why this appeared as it did but I have to assume something was screwy with the Server info display screen---because I played with no problem and don't believe the ping was truly higher than 9000!

the client doesn't always update the ping in the server selection screen.
chances are that the client sent a ping to Aria at the same moment you had a little lagg spike making it show up as 9037.
