Ok, maybe it was TOO simple :P I wanna know something: If you were to choose between a Warlord or a Destroyer for a pole party (supposing you can only choose and have one of those) which one would you use as poler? and why?
strictly pole group i'd take WL. shockstomp, provoke, UD aug for Uberness. Destro is great when youve got 5 more people actually TRAINING you with mobs. but even then Shockstomp is uberness incarnate.
I haven't played a WL, but I suspect with the nerfs to VR in poling and the nerfs that have come to the Destroyer class, that a WL would be much easier to play. As Spud says, WLs have defensive poling skills, and I would think that that would help to counter the nerf to VR in poling.
The only real downside I see to choosing a WL over a Destroyer is the one that I imagine most people already recognize: they are gimp at single-target play.
OK, this has been very helpful... I'm thinking of a sub for my SE and I want either destro or WL coz I wanna try poling (it's fun)... so by your comments I'm willing to go for destro... what would you do?

And destro have Guts. Guys usually don't use frenzy when polling. Simple reason: you as destro, face about 20-30mobs during fight, and to turn on frenzy you need 30% hp. If you hp drops so low it is better to use Guts. Off course there are case where frenzy+rage+zealot rulles, but you will kill mob groups in 2-5 seconds, and rest 90% of time.
For flying by the seat of your pants because the **** Destro got greedy with frenzy and OMG WE ARE ALL GOIN TO DIE aoe....Dest.

I'd choose WL because I like humans alot. Also they are the defacto poling class, and from what people have been saying in most posts, they're excelent at poling even with the VR nerf...

If you want to kill as fast as possible, Destro.
If you want a safe time during poling (including preventing other partymembers getting dmg), Warlord.
As to the gimp-at-single-target comment, play one first before you say that ;)
Btw, don't forget the dwarf classes, they can pole too.
