Shinsengumi has ppl from a lot of places and lots of languages ^^ dutch is easy to find there.

Maybe this is legitimately a question. Maybe not.

But if it were legitimately a question, why do you have to direct people to some random URL rather than just asking the question here?

As it is, if I were Dutch speaking, I'd totally refuse to hit that link considering this forum uses game login information as it is. q.q

He's doing some kind of course at uni and wants to have photos of you and your l2 character to see if there's a trend between how people design their toons.

Something like that.

You got it right purp, that's indeed what I want very easy said.

The reason I didn't post the text on the url here is that I don't wanna put all this dutch language stuff here at an english forum where it would be pointless for 90% of the people.
But maybe you're right MysticLance that the dutchies don't wanna visit that link and I should post the text here anyways. :)

allereerst bedankt dat je de tijd hebt genomen om naar deze website te surfen om te kijken wat ik te zeggen heb.

Mijn naam is Eric Smeets, ik ben 24 jaar oud en ben momenteel bezig met mijn studie fotografie af te ronden aan de Media en Design Academie in Genk, België.
Zelf zit ik momenteel op kamers in Hasselt, maar normaal woon ik in Zuid-Limburg in Nederland.
Ik zit nu in mijn 4e jaar wat inhoud dat we ook een scriptie moeten schrijven die begeleid moet worden met fotowerk.
Zelf ben ik een actief Lineage2 speler en ben ik altijd gefascineerd geweest door de relatie tussen een online avatar en de persoon die deze avatar eigenlijk bestuurd.
Tijdens een siege spelen 100en mensen tegelijk in teamverband om 1 collectief doel te bereiken, terwijl deze mensen zich fysiek op totaal andere plekken in de wereld begeven.
Graag citeer ik onderzoeker Christopher Chavarria die over dit onderwerp reeds een scriptie heeft geschreven. ' MMORPG's are a very unique environment, in that you would almost never, in real life, find high-school students, housewives, retirees and early adult professionals together in any sort of collaborative decision-making task.'
Hopelijk word het een beetje duidelijk dat ik persoonlijk erg geïnteresseerd ben in deze materie. De reden waarom ik jou naar deze website gelokt heb is om te vragen of ik een keer eens langs zou mogen komen voor een aantal portretfoto's te nemen die ik dan wil combineren met een screenshot van (één van) jouw avatars in-game.
Ik heb ook visueel opzoekwerk gedaan rond dit thema en heb o.a. een fotograaf gevonden genaamd Robbie Cooper die een reeks foto's gemaakt heeft genaamd Alter Ego: Avatars & Their Creators.
Hij heeft gewerkt met spelers van Wow, L2, Second Life, enz. Graag laat ik hier een aantal beelden van zien om de opzet duidelijk te maken waar ik ongeveer ook naar toe wil.

Ik wil je hartstikke bedanken voor het nemen van de tijd om mijn verhaal te lezen.
Hopelijk heb ik je kunnen overhalen om met mij contact op te nemen zodat we kunnen praten of ik eventueel eens mag langskomen.
De foto's zullen uitsluitend voor schooldoeleinden gebruikt worden. Ik wil nog even onderstrepen dat die een serieus project is wat gaat bepalen of ik mijn master in de fotografie ga halen, het is dus zeker geen grapje wat ik hier zit te verkondigen en ik hoop dan ook dat ik serieus genomen word. :)
Verder zullen alle foto's die ik maak door jou eerst zelf goedgekeurd worden voor ze gebruikt worden en is het ook geen probleem als je de foto's zelf wilt hebben.

p.s. Als je nog andere mensen kent die L2 spelen op bijvoorbeeld een private server of die geen Nederlands spreken, maar bijv. in Duitsland of Wallonië wonen en die misschien ook nog geïnteresseerd zijn in mijn verhaal zou ik dit heel graag horen.
