dual swords or pole/blunt?

I've recently come back to the game after a 3 year absence, and needless to say, I've reverted to being more or less a noob. I'm wondering what the pros and cons are of using dual swords as opposed to a pole or blunt for my BH. Right now I'm using top C common duals, I do have a pole, and have my skills in pole mastery, but still, I have to wonder if its worth it to use them or the pole, or a blunt at my level (47ish).

blunts suck
if you are single targeting use a 2 handed sword so you can use fatal strike but if the best you can get is duals then stick with that
if you are aoeing (which you should) then obviously use a pole
if you are pvping (which you shouldn't at 4x) use a blunt

At 77+ if you ever pvp (oly) stick to 2 handed

You do better with a two handed blunt then a 1h-blunt+sheild in oly? I must be doing something wrong.

I use a 1 hander and a pole in oly class based and do well with my one handed and pole

Thanks for the info guys! I'll stick with my duals for now and switch to pole/blunt (depending on situation) at A grade =D

2 handed blunt has higher dps (think it's about 10%) but if you factor in more skill spam it's prolly about 0 and it's always handy to squeeze in an extra stun before you get nuked or paraed

the main reason to use a 1 hander imo though is to negate some of the archer and dagger damage and every now and again i guess a mage nuke or two

I recommend the 1handed blunt + shield for pvp/oly.
PvE you can pretty much use whatever you want.
